Really struggling with shooting this car for some reason, can never seem to get any decent angles/lighting aside from these three. Will work on it some more and include a few 512BB shots in the next update. đź‘Ť

I think you nailed it with this...

Nice bunch of photosets, I like the concept. The second one of the SL really suits the style of the car

Thanks Boozybloke, I quite like the 2nd 300SL shot too. đź‘Ť

Very good pictures, Grand Prix. My favourite is the second shot from the 300SL set because of looking classic. ;)

Thanks man, glad you liked them. đź‘Ť

Thanks Todd!

I agree with Todd. Actually I think both of the extra shots of the 512 are better than the original 3 you posted.

Thanks GPR! Took the 2nd one with the other three, but didn't like it at first for some strange reason. So glad you liked them.

Great shots. Can I ask what kind of red you used on the Miura? It looks likes either a matte light red or just a matte red. It that right?

Beautiful shots as ever! :)

Thanks. I used "Calypso Red" from the premium Lotus Esprit on the Miura. I was surprised how different it looks from the shaded side. Dulls in the shade and really comes alive in the light.

It's funny how one mans castaways can be anothers treasures...
I've found that a bit with some of the feedback from my gallery.
You post something, wondering if you should be bothering, and next thing you know everyone's praising it!

Cheers for the comments guys! đź‘Ť

Favor returned ;)

Great pictures. The 512BB looks awesome in black. Mine is Dino Rosso, but I might give it a black dress :D

Amazing pictures, Grand Prix. They are fantastic!

Thanks SVX!

Thanks dude, glad you liked the 512BB set. Very underrated car IMO.

I like the Ferrari and Muira shots they look great, very good stuff.

*Mafz needs to save up for a Muira*

Thanks for the visit and comment. đź‘Ť

Great couple of sets there, I really like this picture, I think the style is really cool http://i882.photobucket.com/albums/ac22/RobertJollymore/Gran%20Turismo%205%20Photos/Snowy_SSR7_2.jpg

Thanks man, the snow can create some nice lines to play with. :D

I was telling my buddy Erik, "Dude it's snowing, let's get some 🤬 snow pictures!" The snow turned out to be more difficult to work with than I thought,

I wish I had a Mark IV to try it and make some shots:( but I can't earn 20 mlns of crd on this damn thing... anyway, I like the amount of precised details you did on it... looks fantastic!

Thanks man. I was in the XJ13 that I won, Mark IV GT40 is definitely very nice for photos though! One of my favourite looking cars with the Porsche 917K and Ferrari GTO.

Nice preview GP. The yellow really works well with the blue-ish gray backdrop. I look forward to the set.

Great update GP, I think this is your best set yet. They are all great. But fav would have to be shot 2, awesome stuff. I love the simplicity of it and the angle, light well pretty much everything. Well done, my favourite shot from you thus far I think. đź‘Ť

Wow great comments. Thanks dudes. đź‘Ť

Glad you liked the 2nd and 3rd ones, I spent a lot of time playing with those in Photoshop.

Yep, numbers two and three are the winners here. The way the light reflects off the engine cover in #2, along with the sense of motion and somewhat unique angle really makes it nice. Personally, I like #3 even better - I'm a sucker for 'golden hour' light like that. Bummer that photomode shows its limitations here, though - the banding is worse than I'd have expected.

Thanks. I noticed the banding too after putting it on here, so how's this in comparison?

Yes? No? Maybe?

Thanks for the constructive comments. đź‘Ť

Maybe - depends on the look you're going for. You definitely got rid of the banding - but at the cost of losing some of the dark moodiness that the vignetting created. Photoshop giveth, and Photoshop taketh away, I guess. :)

I'm not sure if it's partially from the JPEG compression that our photo hosting sites use, or if it comes when we use curves or levels to try to pull out more detail. I've seen it in a bunch of my own shots, and it's not always easy to get rid of. Sometimes, we're just limited by the media we work with.
