Announcement regarding connection issues.
Where we appreciate anyone helping with people in the lobby with connection issues, The BOD asks everyone to please let the BOD handle the issues and communicate with the affected Racers. We do our very best to make every opportunity to get the race in with EVERYONE. Every week the BOD (@Nick Cannella @TexasJDC @Neutty @Herimopp89 @Ryan Kirk @Jw_wk1010 ) is in a Party chat, communicating and doing our best to get the race in, IN A TIMELY MANOR. *When multiple people are messaging an individual, and they keep trying all kinds of things, it makes it hard to get the race going when we may actually know the issue or when we are trying to communicate with the affected racer to get things sorted out.*
Some things to keep in mind.
A common cause to people getting stuck in the pits with a pit glitch is: When the room loads, people try to jump on track as quickly as possible, Let the game settle for a second before you attempt to enter the track. When we reset the room (time of day, or track) and you enter the course as fast as you can, this can cause a pit glitch. Where this isnt the PRIMARY reason, it is something that i have tested myself on numerous occasions.
People not being able to see others: This is an issue with 1 of 3 people. The two affected, or the host. We do everything in our power to keep the lobby united as much as possible. We ask the two affected to back out, clear cache/network and then come back in. Where this doesnt always fix the issue, it is something that works more often than not.
Stuck on the grid: This driver has an issue connecting to the lobby (HOST) If multiple people are stuck chances are its on polyphony digital's side. If its just one, that player will need to clear their cache/network and rejoin.
Please REVIEW the below picture prior to entering the lobby tonight.
