It was an impressive race, congratulations to aceboy for that close win.

A shame for me as I did a perfect getaway off the grid, overtaking a couple of cars but ended up spinning because of an ambitious attempt to hold position. Heavy damage made me lose 90 seconds around the track, but it was a good recovery through lots of calculations on my pit strategy to come back the order. Almost overtook Mrsneutty in the closing moments but the traffic has held me back a little.

Sadly I didn't get to use my wheel because of safety reasons and confidence...

Had a blast. That was a great race. Glad I was able to stay on lead lap and actually put some good laps In. Think I was .3 off fastests lap by end. Had two cups of coffee to wake myself up for the race and was awake to hop into the last fia mfg race of the night. I was battling for the lead with 2 others until an early lap car screwed the deal But settled for a third. since joining the league it’s really sharpened my skills. My DR may say D but I feel it’s turned into a solid c+. Haha. Great racing. See you guys in the beast on Wednesday.

My plan last night was to run FIA nations, (as I was going to make a run this season for top 40) but Polyphony Digital made me DC before the lobbies even got set!! I couldn’t join after that. And the next race wasn’t doable due to our league. I had 1 time slot.... I practiced sooo very hard for FIA. Tons of wasted time! Needless to say I was pretty pissed.

As far as the race last night. A few issues, the RCZ really isn’t the ideal car honestly. But it was something different. I’m glad next week is the last race with the car. I am unsure of the next car I need to sign up for but I need to find a cheater car like the (Beetle Gr.3). Lol.

Ahh the highs and lows of racing to go from winning my very first overall to being crashed out running out of fuel and finally this week accidently putting Wesley in the cheap seats again my apologies he had a great comeback but he should of done way better. The only thing I could do to even attempt to make up for my huge error was pull over and wait for you to get going. Then once I saw you had to pit due to the damage I caused I pulled over again to wait until you exited. Yes it did effectively ruin my race but again it was the right thing to do so my apologies

No clue was super pissed about it nation's being disconnected but I'm going to still make a decent run at FIA this season to see where I rank for this...might have to really push myself for the next fia season

Results from last night's Race 10 are below. season points/stats updated in post #2 and here.
Great turn out last night, a season high of 28 drivers!

Glad I wasn’t the only one that got disconnected suddenly. I qualified 2nd for my manufacturer race and PD disconnected me just before the grid intro. :banghead:

No worries man. You were in a difficult position looking back at the replay. I saw you carried just a bit more speed that lap going into those esses and you ran wide as a result. You were still able to correct the car but it looks like I turned into the right hander just as you were beginning to correct the car. Honestly, I would’ve done THE EXACT same thing because just letting the car get into the grass on the right hand side in an attempt to let me through without conflict would’ve had you skating across the grass into the wall and possibly back onto the track. You were going fast enough through there where that scenario wouldn’t have been pretty neither. Not to mention you had tired out boots on, so trying to get the car whoa’ed down enough to prevent an accident would’ve done you no good neither.

I had a fun night either way. This was the first race since Interlagos where I felt like strategy really played into which victor got the spoils because in reality most of the 30 of us had a shot at an overall win. It really didn’t seem to come down to who had the tightest handle of the track. Everyone (in my lobby at least) seemed to have a nice handle for themselves around Maggiore. It was just nice to finally feel a competitive edge again.

I'm shook on my personal fastest lap, not awarded the slowest this time. Probably gave it my all on the closing stages.

Qualifying was a bit funny for me too. I got caught up with the front running traffic while the pack suddenly stopped in front. I struggled on the hards as the grip wasn't even coming in on my flying lap.

Glad that I got rid of it in the race. Haha!

Yeah man. FIA had my focus as well. My first race of the season and thankfully I wasn't disconnected, but it did take most of my week preparing. Came into the race with no real strategy and took a while to recognize I was way off pace as I was saving too much. Had to really step on it for the second half of the race. Shout out to @aceboy127 for the superb drive that kept me off the overall podium. That was a really composed drive and deserved the Lobby A win. Also, sorry to @7ylerallen for the love tap at T1, I was distracted by Ace coming up the inside. Think we both got aero damage because of my mistake.

Amazing turn out too. Happy too see all those new names up there.

No worries man. Lol I was actually concerned about Ace myself. I was trying to defend going into the turn but the slippery bugger still got away lol.

Wow. At least you got a win bro. I placed 7th after getting tapped into the perfect pirouette with two laps to go.

Haha yeah, Ace was on yesterday, he couldn't be stopped. Spent 7 laps chasing him and he got me by .092. It was amazing.
