Great race last night. I had my doubts on lap 2 after receiving damage, but I guess that was fate telling me to change my pit strategy (5/10/14/18) to start my 4 lap stints (4/8/13/18) at the beginning to avoid the battle royal going on. I used full fuel map the whole race, shifting as soon as the rev bar above my speedometer (bumper view) turned pink. Just like others have said, patience was the key. Chasing someone was tempting, but I had to keep telling myself not to wind out my gears to the max LoL. @NASCARNATE91 Thanks for the great race, that was intense! And I wish to give a big thanks to @Herimopp89 for helping improve my lap times during the mock race. See you guys at Spa next Saturday

You were fast last night man. That Citroen is butt ugly but you made it look good.

I will have nightmares all season of that ominous Citroën barreling down Tokyo at unprecedented speeds..seriously though @Infineon that thing was the speed king last night. I’m currently watching the replay and you had a ton more damage than I did on lap 3 and still managed to eat away at a significant gap on the front straightaway. Sad part is I even had a tow from @DimeloJJ and only had rear end damage. The Lexus really didn’t feel at home in Tokyo. My car was struggling on top speed. It was very difficult to reel people in with the draft.

On the subject of the balance, I know the BOD will be (or already is) working really hard to get it right. The game is quickly evolving. GT always happens to change when the league is well underway with a new season or vice versa. Whichever comes first I suppose. It may help if I had another set of eyes to figure out if there’s anything I could do better...but on the other end it feels like I’m simply going through one humbling race after another. It’s been a tough pill to swallow going from top honors in daily races with some of the fastest drivers in our region to fighting to stay relevant in the ARL top 10 day in and day out. I will say though racing in the ARL has made me more competitive in the dailies, but I still won’t rest until I finally get win in an ARL Gr.3 race. Hell a podium or top 5 minimum will suffice. I’m patiently waiting but working really hard.

I think the biggest difference between here and daily races are with the dailies there is no strategy needed. Most races are super short and u just go flat out. You are getting better stick with it and you will be dominating dailies.

Looks like I missed one heck of a race. Doing the family thing right now. Congrats to the winners!

Happy Holidays from NYC!

You are not the only one. I pas from a podium to a trash race. But same as you I will not rest until I get a bronze division title.

So, looking forward..... Do we have any idea yet for next season? I know there was tire and fuel settings being tested, are we looking at some time time between seasons, or will it be just a few weeks? I’m possibly switching rides for the next gr3 season, so wondering how soon I need to finish testing lol.

We are planning on probably 2 weeks between seasons if not maybe longer. So you should have time to keep testing.

Just to kinda piggy back off what heri said, we want to make sure we get it right this time bc for the last 2 seasons it's been run the softest tire and pit more which kinda makes it a sprint race and no one is enjoying pitting 5 times in a race that's a little rediculous, so we will be taking an extra week off to make sure we nail it and get it correct for next season I'm already working on tire and fuel, schedule, and a few other things to get a head start and will definitely give everyone a week to practice different cars with season 5 changes

Cant wait for season 5. I already know which car im picking. Regardless of what happens with fuel and tire wear.

What’s the “goal” for fuel and tires? Something closer to one or two stops?

Right now I’m averaging 5 stops a race just based on fuel.

I was thinking of an idea to have a "wildcard/joker" car to nominate for a race in exchange of wildcard race double points. Any finishes below a specific placing or grid will yield half the amount of points for the respective position, and any equal or above will have double points.

Except that it's limited to one use per season, regardless of results (DNF, DNS, DSQ, DC, or finish). And will not be eligible for double points or use in wildcard races.

That straight has always been brutal on the mustang. It was the first car I ran in this series also so I know all too well ur pains. The only way I was even able to do five laps last night was in a draft and using map 6 in the tow otherwise when I was on my own I could only do four as well. The only saving grace I had was I short pitted twice and that got me close enough to the 4th that I could over take 5th-7th when u guys pitted otherwise I would of been tenth or eleventh in the lobby so in my opinion u did very well with what u had to work with.

Now I know why you didn't want to go around me and stayed on my back bumper for 4 laps..:cheers:
