Thank you everyone for coming this evening. We want to start by thanking our previous season's sponsors. Without them we wouldn't be racing. Unfortunately, due to a lackluster performance and some unsavory driver issues they will not return for season 5.

Our season was full of ups and downs, twists and turns and a few penalties, but we were able to pull off a *air quotes* "decent" season. However, we found driver NerdFam6 was partaking in some disturbing off-track activities involving clowns and rubber chickens. We wont go into details, but we have relieved him of his contract and have hired IDreamIn_GT3 for season 5, at a significant discount I might add *wink*. Along with a new driver comes a new sponsor and car.

Smokey Top Racing has chosen the Ford Mustang and Budweiser has enthusiastically sponsored our team. We look forward to season 5 and a truck full of beer.

*PRESS RELEASE*

To the absolute astonishment of Ford Racing, the Famous 43 has decided to part way with the Mustang. It was a hard decision for Cornbread to make, but a necessary one.
"You should've been in the board room. There wasn't a dry eye in the house when we announced we'd be leaving Ford. A sad day for us all." Cornbread said. "I'd like to thank Ford Racing and Roush Yates Engines for all their hard work."

When asked about the departure, Jack Roush was at a total loss of words. "He could only smile. A twinkling tear filled his eye." One engineer stated. Doug Yates was equally emotional.

"Our competition directors, race engineers, body shop, and engine guys have put in an incredible amount of work over the past month. Seat time was a premium and we tested with a quite a few manufacturers this off season. I really believe we've made the right choices.
Black Rifle Coffee Company stepped up once again to back this effort. We thank them, and the veterans they employ that work tirelessly to keep us Free and bring us the best coffee on the planet. But some mighty big changes have happened.
VP Racing Fuel will gas the car. Valvoline has signed on as our official motor oil. And NITTO Tires will keep us planted on the asphalt. And a new team name, bringing us back to our roots, is here. WFO Enterprises. But our largest change is the car itself. For ARL's 5th Season, we will be competing with BMW in the M6 GT3. We at WFO Enterprises are thrilled and excited to have M Power this season."

The question of a multicar effort is still being asked. Given the rules of ARL, a Silver Division driver must step up. And given the reputation of Driver 43 is equal to that of a Chevy 305, only good as a boat anchor, it's doubtful this will happen. Several Silver drivers had to be taken to a hospital by ambulance because of their lack of oxygen due to the hysterical laughter when prompted with the potential alliance.

Upon hearing the news their contract was signed, BMW executives started crying. Several were fired on the spot. Ford could be heard cheering in the background. Quite possibly the loudest uproar heard during Media Day. Cornbread looked quite confused by this. But pressed on to reveal his new ride. While traveling to Japan in the off-season with @TexasJDC and @Neutty for totally normal reasons (not asian ladyboys), we found out Mazda was giving away Atenzas.

A Mazda representative said they can't sell the damn things.

Fueled by Tayto, Lucozade and any other Irish thing you can think of. Irish 1 man race team R-Sport are thrilled to be taking part in season 5 of ARL. WanganGhost does not drink. But a representative for the team for unknnown reasons had this to say about the upcoming season. “I love you”
After that disturbing remark we went for a photoshoot with the car and its owner.

PRESS RELEASE ​



The all Porsche race team from season 4, TPC Racing, has dissolved despite a strong finish. Unfortunately, sponsorship contracts were unable to be re-established eliminating any chance of fielding another strong effort, and all drivers have been released.

Two of the drivers, II-NOVA-II and @GTP_Guido stayed in communication during the brief offseason, making efforts to form a new race team and secure sponsorship. While there were differences of opinion on which cars to field,
(II-NOVA-II favored the "Bulls" of Lamborghini, while Guido liked the "Silver Arrows" of Mercedes) they came to a compromise and decided to field both, creating the name for their newly formed race team:
Bulls and Arrows Motorsports.

After thorough testing, it was realized that the chosen cars favored each driver's strengths. Shortly after the formation of the new team, it was decided that a third driver to round out our team increases our chances of a more favorable season outcome. We reached out to @GTR4MROD, whom already announced he was interested in driving the Mercedes, and seemed to be a great fit. With his acceptance of the team offer, this rounds out our team entry for Season 5. Meet the drivers and the cars below.

Mid Pack Racing

Coming fresh off their Season 4 Championship Win Mid Pack Racing is already making some new changes for Season 5.
After going through many applications and cutting thru the red tape driven by years of corporate greed Mid Pack Racing would like to Announce & Congratulate @TurboTacho as the newest member of their team. His commitment and enthusiasm will make a great addition to the team as they look to put the competition behind them once again.

Ford Motor Company has signed @Rinsky & @TurboTacho for the second year with unlimited factory support for the Mustang & Ford GT in both the Silver & Bronze Divisions. Just as this exciting news was unfolding Controversy soon filled the room as @Infineon refused to dive for Ford and seemed hell bent on driving strange one off race cars from another manufacturer while being employed by Ford Motor Company.

During all the chaos @Infineon stormed out of the room while giving everyone the middle finger and signed with Peugeot using their VGT Race Car.
In what seems to be a retaliation move Ford along with ARL has demanded that all Mid Pack Racing drivers take a drug test prior to season 5. Results from this drug test are still not being made public at this time but sources say @Infineon & @Rinsky will most likely be facing a few one race suspensions throughout the season and @Infineon is not scheduled for the first race.

Lets get some more teams formed for season 5, and get those press releases out. 5 team bonus points awarded for the one voted the best by the (rigged) BOD. (Side note, mine was kick-ass last year but only received one vote..LMAO).

***NOTE***If you have an auto-confirm pending, or have previously confirmed, but will not be able to race, that statement must be made in this thread or updated via the form. Failure to do so will have a negative impact on your participation % and your overall status.

Two bronze drivers may form up to make a team. What is important though, in selecting a team mate, is someone who will show up more often than not. Based on past data and history, both you guys show up very often. If you’d like to form a team there is nothing preventing you gentlemen from doing so.

You guys did a great job to rework the fuel and tire regs for this season. And per race too. awesome job
