Sorry to my team mates for missing the race along with everybody else getting ready to race when to Refrigerator to get a drink for the race and stepped in water from the dish washer and had to clean up the mess and find the leak and did the pump sh** sucks
No worries man **** happens sometimes we all have been there

just wanted to take a second and apologize for the short race tonight and the miss on the lap count, this issue will be fixed before next weeks race. thank you everyone who got to race tonight after looking at the finishing times seems to be some close battles going on which is awesome. remember if you get any pics from the race please post them in the race photo section ill use them on social media and last i just wanted to get some feed back on the tire and fuel what do you guys think did you like it or dislike it?

I wasn’t able to run a “Proper pit cycle” tonight so I can’t say. Plus with the shortened race. Seems better, I was only a few tenths off herimopp qual lap so.

The fuel and tires consumption rate are much linear, and consistent for this season. Not as unbalanced like some FIA races, nor heavily aggressive like Season 4.
I liked how it helped to allow us to at least fight on for several laps worth of close action and position swapping. Nevertheless, it kind of helped reduce lawn mowing and spinning since we could push as much unlike the last time.

Congratulations @Herimopp89

All I can say is this seasons settings are much more enjoyable that allows you to get into a race grove.
It was enjoyable for me to run at or near the same pace as the fastest guys in this series. I'm very pleased with my performance last night.

@NASCARNATE91 very impressive performance in the Ferrari. I stayed with you for most of the race and never once seen you even begin to lose control of that car. I thought for sure as tire wear became an issue I would get around you but instead you controlled that beast to perfection..nice job.

Results from last nights race are posted below. The stats workbook in post #2 will be updated and live later this week.
Nice kick-off to season 5 drivers. Congrats to @Herimopp89 and @GTR4MROD for the wins in their respective divisions!:gtpflag:

Wow!!! I was sure I'd be 5th or 6th in my div, by dang. I'll take 2nd. Also want to thank my teammate @CPT_RowdyGiff for his 6th place finish. Unfortunately our 3rd entry @Rob Pardun had a faulty water pump and could not compete. The folks in the shop will fix'er up and we'll be ready for next week.

Also, thanks to the BOD and everyone involved with tire testing. The tires held up longer and absolutely made the racing better. Didnt see too many folks sliding off track. I felt like the car was easier to control. Looking forward to next week.

Great performances last night everyone. Congrats to @Herimopp89 and @GTR4MROD on the division wins.

Well done to @NASCARNATE91, that was a good consistent drive by all indications. Also, @GTP_Guido had a really good recovery drive.

@Neutty and I said 🤬 overall time because we were at each other's necks for the last nine laps. Had a little accident at the end that cost us about 10 seconds, so it would have been interesting, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. It was some of the most exhilarating racing I've ever had. The lead changed so much, I lost count. Definitely worth watching.

@TexasJDC, tire wear was much better than last season. It's more gradual and you don't feel like you are driving a different car by lap 3 anymore. I honestly don't have a problem with fuel, then or now, just adapt to whatever it's set at.

Again, great job everyone and I'll see you at Dragon Trail.

Other than my driving, I thought it went really well. Race time was decent, tire wear was good, competition was all over the place. A+

I predict a huge swing of race results compared to the last season. Particularly the midfielders that bunched up pretty closely to near butt-sniffing or bumper to bumper action.

Will there be a wider tire compound range or regulations to use both compounds in the future? Imagine if sudden death rules kicked in.

Same with restricting the type of car used by country or drivetrain

Absolutely.
There are so many online lobby options that should have been carried over from GT6.
Unfortunately I've given up on that possibility ever happening.
