Whoa thanks everyone for all the love and support!! I'm really overjoyed you guys like it. Again, thank you!!

@Moby45 hahahaha I wouldnt mind that job :lol::lol: Would be awesome to have some way to get the other lobbies full replays every race, if theres anyone that can help with that next season I'd love to have both lobbies to work with :cheers::cheers:

They would have the share the replay in GTS and then you would have to either watch it or save it in GTS. Not sure how you scavenged video but that seems to be the only way as far as I can tell.

Yah thats likely what I'd have to do, get someone each week who is going to share and ill save it and scavenge from there :D

Welcome @Dan Keller to ARL! This is our off week in-between gr3 seasons we should have some testing lobbies and practice lobbies for next season up this week along with our other series still going on.

Welcome @Dan Keller :cheers::cheers:

Congratulations to the league division champions, and the season finale winners.

Dragon Trail is for sure one of my favorite tracks and one of my strongest. Absolutely loved the chicane and the winding run down to turn 1. It's probably the best race I've ever had this season. Doing my best comeback after falling back the field to dead last on lap 4 (which took out my original pit plan), adjusting to a new pit strategy on-the-go and pushing as much as I could to close up the gap. That managed to earn me more time as it played out pretty well.

I've learnt a lot from my teammates as well before their break this season, with Rinsky telling me to keep consistent every lap rather than to chase every lap with accumulating risks, and Infineon helping me to improve my decision-making and pit strategy. Definitely learning a lot more than I could possibly seek out.

Despite my sudden reduced participation mid-season due to unexpected calls in life, shifting of dedication to other hobbies and games (partly also my sudden loss of interest in GT Sport), I would always look out for an opportunity to race at the next meeting. It's a shame I couldn't race more this season.

Thank you for hosting Season 6 for ARL Gr.3, with many more new seasons ahead I would like to look forward to more.

P.S. I've just got my new car livery done this afternoon. The old, stale-looking hideous yellow design of the RC F is begone for good.

3 months, 12 races, 313 individual video clips and one (*******) corrupted file later, here is my season 6 highlight video, hope you guys enjoy, this ones for you!!

That's really an impressive video, captures a lot of great action throughout the season.
Now how many times did you re-watch the replay for every race? I hope it wasn't 20 times every race replay, per lobby. That's gonna drive me crazy.

Thanks so much !! It was 2-3 times per race, I would mostly follow the on track battles the first time through but there were some more cinematic camera angles that could slip through the cracks so I'd do an insurance watch or two. Then when I finished editing I re-watched all the clips which was about 2 hours of 30 second clips, so in all about 30 hours of scavenging! Not as bad as 20x per race :lol:

Hey guys I just wanted to let everyone know I will be stepping back in season 7 as far as racing goes. I want to personally thank everyone for making ARL what it is today you guys are awesome. I do plan on running a handful of races so for those of you who thought "yes the smart ass is finally gone" as Lee Corso puts it "not so fast my friend" lol I'll still be posting lobbies and making a smart ass remark every chance I get. I will miss the Saturday night party chats for sure but can't wait to be able to hop in from time to time. Good luck in season 7 everyone I hope it's a blast!

PS. I ran this livery in the last race wish I could have been more competitive instead of running by myself but it was a small tip of the hat to you guys and girl thank you all again!

One of the proposals that came up last night was a change to qualifying. As you all know we currently use a 10 minute open qualifying format. What is currently under discussion is switching to a one and done format. Please answer the poll and let us know your thoughts.

It will basically consist of 1 out lap, 1 hot lap, and 1 cool down lap.

How it will work:

All drivers will wait in their vehicle in the pits.
The first driver will exit the pits to start their out lap.
Once the first driver crosses the first or second sector line (depending on circuit) to start their out lap the next driver will exit the pits to start their out lap
After the second driver crosses the first or second sector line (depending on circuit) to start their out lap the next driver will exit the pits to start their out lap
this will continue until all drivers have exited the pits to start qualifying

Cool down lap:
After completing your hot lap/qualifying lap please continue to drive until you are a safe distance from the start/finish line
Then please exit the track and return to the lobby or continue to the pits and wait until qualifying is over.
Please remain greened up while in the lobby or your qualifying time will be nullified.

How do I know when to exit the pits to start qualifying?:
Please join the party chat. The lobby host will let you know when its your turn to exit the pits via party chat.

***If you happen to make a mistake and another driver catches up to you please be courteous and do not hold them up. Use the voice chat to communicate how you plan to let the driver overtake***

I don't qualify all that great anyway so it doesn't matter to me much. This proposal makes it seem like quali might take longer though.

I don't mind starting in the back of every race. Lol

It worked well in open wheel, the only thing i see an issue with is if we get a full (or close) field, where you have the possibility of someone starting their outlap too close to someone running their hotlap. If it is spaced out appropriately (maybe half the field qualifies and pulls over then 2nd half does the same) depending on the circuit it can work. I enjoyed it with the open wheel series
