Might miss out this weekend's race, but tentative for now.

Last weekend's race was challenging. I had a bad qualifying after hitting the wall on my 2nd flying lap at the exit of the hairpin, necessitating a pit repair and lost a lot of time for that.
The race was crazy for me as well, hit the outside wall at the penultimate corner while carrying too much grip while on cold tires. That forced me to rethink my strategy immediately and went on soft stints for the rest of the race. 2 stop turned 3 again, but it wasn't as bad as the wet race where I had to save a lot of fuel at the end for a 1 stopper.

The dogfight with Nick was really intense throughout the middle of the race, exchanging positions every corner, every lap. Even with a rapidly approaching lead pack of cars waiting to overtake on blue, we're just putting the money and points on the table to fight for track position. The unfortunate tangle we had was somewhat the right opportunity for me to take a 'free' scheduled pit stop, right to the flag.

Exciting as always, just hoping to commit all the way to the end of the season before my break.

I am! This is my yearly tradition...the one day everyone knows I'm unavailable, lol. I've always said that LeMans is the pinnacle of human achievement. The highest technology coupled with the highest teamwork. And they do it for fun and just because they can... because they should!

I was thinking since today is LeMans would anyone want to do a multi class GR3 and GR1 race before or after the race tonight. Maybe Gold Drivers use the LMP2 cars while silver and bronze drivers use the gr3. Bop for both100 & 100. Grid would have the GR1 in front of grid and GR3 in back with a standing start.

Porsche, Audi, Toyota, Peugot, and Nissan are all LMP1's.
