Current confirmations for Saturday:
So, question about this. Where do I expect to be placed with 20K DR? Just want to know what battles I should pick and what I shouldn't.
Been busy this week, any room for me to slot in on the grid this Saturday Night? @TexasJDC @PApunk924
WOAHWOAHWOAH!
No TCS?!
I'll die on L1T1.
Thank god I chose the Lexus. I ran a few laps without TCS, and running 2nd gear on exits seems to solve the problem on most corners, others I'll just try to throttle control. Worn tires though...I'll probably be slower than usual because of compromised corner exits and I'll pit more times than normal too. DL for me then.Yes sir. Only driving aid allowed is ABS and the only tuning is your brake ballast.
Basically we do this without TCS, at all. To be honest, TCS actually slows you down on a sweeping corner and slower exit speed. Try practicing controlling the throttle on turns (also on grid start because its mandatory too, I learned it the hard way when I first started the ARL) and with time, you'll actually get faster lap times than with TCS.WOAHWOAHWOAH!

Oh well, as long as I don't spin it's a win for me!![]()
Driver aids are a cruel mistress,
I totally understand, and have no problems learning to drive without TCS(been procrastinating on that actually) but don't real GT3s have TCS too?Basically we do this without TCS, at all. Race starts at 9:15 in the morning for me, will definitely try to join the practice lobby. Can you send me an FR? PSN is same as here.@AfraidRacer there is a driver training and information lobby before the mock lobby, opens 3 hours before race time if you wish to learn more about the league/series or get some tips!![]()
They do! In my opinion though, Gran Turismo’s not too great about TCS. It doesn’t feel too bad though on sims like Assetto Corsa and Project Cars. I think GT over exaggerates it a bit.I totally understand, and have no problems learning to drive without TCS(been procrastinating on that actually) but don't real GT3s have TCS too?

Sure
Cool, adding to that, would it be possible to swap cars?
Original choice I chose serve me no purpose anymore in my plan for later this year.
@PApunk924
Thats fine. Just go to the gr3 hub and choose one thats available.
The Lexus is a good choice man, it can really carry corner speed well and is 1 of my favorite cars to drive. You will quickly learn TCS holds you back and once you get use to it you'll notice your lap times will improve alot, this is a great group of guys that help anyone who needs it so if you have any questions ask away manThank god I chose the Lexus.
