If I keep up these performances I'm gonna get fired from Lexus...Need to get back on my game for Maggiore and NOT have a Ferrari strategy(seriously, messed up my tire strategy at Laguna) Pit loss at Maggiore is about 5 seconds I believe?
From what i see very few people keep their rides from season to season. Either by choice or the car manufacturer gives them ‘the boot’. Manufacturers are an unforgivable sort.

Screw ‘em and drive it like you stole it man!

Give Lexus the old, worn, twisted and charred chassis at season end and move onto the next unsuspecting manufacturer next season!

I tend to over exaggerate my talent to the execs during the off season. Or promise some outlandish, undeliverable thing to them.

I mean my record is pretty darn consistent, I have no clue why they still fall for it and sign me to a deal. Everybody in the garage knows I'm simply field filler material.

Everyone's laps seem so much quicker than last season....maybe I'm just imagining that, but the overall race pace really felt quick this week.

I gotta back you on this one. I didn't have a single off and felt quick enough. Alas in hindsight, my lines are **** and the track is ****. It be what it be.

EDIT: and something something my sponsors say I have to say the Dodge was not at fault...

Thank you for the amendment, I've been putting out fires on the phone all day from that presser :lol::lol:

ARL NEWS
AfraidRacer has now revealed that he will be continuing with Lexus for the remainder of this season. He says that he is ‘very impressed’ by their cars, but when Lexus was approached for comment they expressed their disappointment in AfraidRacer’s driving and said that he must ‘prove himself’ at Maggiore. AU, who owns all the ad space on the car and leases it out to other companies, said that he must ‘maintain a level of professionalism’ and get at least a top 3 finish in class to continue receiving sponsorship from the international brands that are currently on the car.
AfraidRacer has also said that there are ‘no excuses for him’ at Maggiore, as it is a track he loves and can be quite good at.
