UPDATE: Scarecrow may host silver lobby tonight due to connection issues for one of the players, please add PSN Scarecrow937 if you are in silver and do not have him as a friend. Hopefully there is no issue but just in case :cheers:

The game is pretty inconsistent with the track limits from turns 2 through 4 at the Nurburgring GP course. I have seen people take liberties with the astroturf between 2 and 3 and only sometimes get a penalty, then sometimes get away with cutting across part of turn 3, and then between 3 and 4 I think you have to go to Belgium to get an off track penalty.
Can you all clarify if the limits are going to be enforced there, and if so what exactly is the limit for turn 4?

Just wan to say thanks for the track/car selection this week
I know it wasn't everyone's cup-o-tea and I did have to dig into the retirement funds to purchase that AWD bad-boy 919
But in those last few test sessions with Triebs I found the puddin

Yea dude you were booking it!! You took 4th overall ahead of me by like 3s. So I know we didn't hit the CoD!:cheers:

@triebs2 My .02 is if I get a cut penalty I get one, if I dont, I dont. Though I tend to at least try not to push the track limits to much.

You should maintain contact with the track at all times, which means at least one wheel has to be touching white line or kerb, depending on what's there. The game time penalties are often all over the place, and we usually wont go to the extent of giving our own penalties for track extension, but if someone is repeatedly and deliberately cutting track we can have a look, though its more of an honesty policy.

Just aim to keep 2 wheels on the good side of the white lines and you'll be good.
PD will let you drive on the curbs and still be legal, but if one of the wheel falls off the curb by even 1 pixel, then you get a penalty.
Also, you can avoid the penalty by letting off the throttle (kinda just serving the penalty before its given).

Track limits also vary by tracks, some don't like you going over the white lines, this is what I usually try to comply with to be on the safe side.

Just going to add to the track limits discussion. Going onto the astro turf after t2 is almost asking for dirty tires and will most likely compromise your t3 and exit out of t4. So yea I personally try not to go over the curbs in that section.

You can lose so much time just by over driving the arena section.

Edit sorry Stryker for the quote tag didnt meen to
