INSIDE ARL - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – BREAKING NEWS
Following the ongoing story released earlier, when marketing Chairperson Ivanna Dick (no relation), was approached she indicated that ‘Hot Wheels wanted to capitalize on the unprecedented popularity and fan base that this GRr3 team has accumulated’. She continues ’Our confirmed sources seem to indicate that team WAR is the favorite to win the season 10 team championship - we’d love to be part of that!’
When pressed as to ‘who’ the source was, that gave them this info, Ima Dick, (somewhat of a relation) head of Mattel Promotions, spoke up and said ‘our source told us the info was reliable and that it was a ‘sure thing’ that WAR would clinch the title for this 10th season……however we did notice he had a bit of a slur and smelled like booze.....’

Edit: Regardless of outcome, I'm proud of WAR. A good Gold driver and two random Silvers came together, talked strategy, practiced and started putting up results. A couple seasons in and we're right in the hunt. Win or lose, we were still a problem the other teams had to contend with.

I agree. Lets just say the press releases are hinting towards a (at least what i think will be) a very cool way to remember season 10 for the members of team WAR! I just wish Aneda Dick would hurry up her investigative reporting!

Aneda Dick here, staying on top of the story as it unfolds. The question we’re chasing now, is ‘who’ was ballsy enough to predict that team WAR would secure the 10th season Championship?
All we know is that Hot Wheels is apparently quite excited about all this, and that their ‘informant’ he had a slur and smelled like booze.
We caught up with @Stryker13 and @scarecrow937. Of course @BPeacock27 was nowhere to be found.
A.Dick – so Stryker and Scarecrow – what can you tell us about this new Hot Wheels affiliation?
Stryker – No idea what you’re talking about – this is the first I’ve heard of it….
Scarecrow – Ditto. No idea. Didn’t even know Hot Wheels had an interest in us?
A.Dick – and what about this informant? Not only does he sound like a drunk, but sounds pretty (overly?) confident that you guys will win the Season 10 Championship?
Scarecrow and Stryker look at each other and roll their eyes – did you say arrogant and drunk? We may have some idea….
They look over their shoulder and yell towards the corner of the garage – PEACOCK!!! Get out here!
Peacock stumbles out, obviously a little worn out from the night before….but….he is wearing a Mattel ball cap…….and has a very drunken smile on his face…..

Aneda Dick here again…looks like we finally got some info as to ‘who’ the informant was that convinced Mattel Hot Wheels to have interest in team WAR.
A.Dick – ok @BPeacock27, it appears that you’ve somehow convinced a major deal with Mattel and their Hot Wheels brand. Aren’t you worried that this may come back on you?
Peacock – in what way? (Looking much better, sobered up, shaved and looking ready for a press release. He actually looks somewhat intelligent and prepared).
A.Dick – Can you confirm it was you that boasted to Hot Wheels that WAR would be the Season 10 Champions?
Peacock – (looking as serious as a heart attack) Absolutely.
A.Dick – you seem mighty confident, and sober for a change, I might add.
Peacock – I think my confidence in our team is well founded. Stryker has been running real well lately, as well as Scarecrow. I’ve recently had to make changes to my schedule and have actually dropped another series so that I can focus more on the last few races of the season. I think our confidence is accurate.
A.Dick – what about last weeks race?
Peacock – ok so maybe that wasn’t a particularly great example of our prowess. But what about the rest of the season? We’re not far from winning this thing, holding second in points. We’re coming up to some tracks that work well for us, the team and the car. Confident? You bet I am! Arrogant? Maybe!
A.Dick – ok Hot Wheels? Let’s talk about them. Sounds like a deal for a potential Hot Wheels livery and sponsorship?
Peacock – not much to talk about….and there’s no livery. But I’d scoop these baby’s up before the price goes through the roof on them.
A.Dick - ?!?!?!???
All of a sudden, out of nowhere a large projector screen comes down from the ceiling and these pictures are displayed….
A.Dick – Holey crap. How did you pull this off? A three car set?
Peacock – Get ‘em while they’re hot. Yes. Hot Wheels is so impressed with us that they’ve come out with our own diecast car set. Wether we win or not (and we WILL) what other team has a Hot Wheels set of their cars!?
With that Peacock literally ‘mic drops’ and leaves the room. Whistling ‘we are the champions’ as he swaggers out.
Well there you have it Inside ARL fans. Arrogance or Accurate? Time will tell.

Hey guys, unfortunately I’m not gonna make it to tonight’s race because my little sister’s graduation got moved to tonight due to weather. Best of luck to everyone in the race. Was really looking forward to this one because the Nurburgring is such a great track IMO

So word on the street is GT Sport is featured for this year newly virtual Olympics from May to June. So are there going to be something during that time?
