I’m a new racer, and this past week I tried online for the first time. I’m frustrated with the daily races so I tried out the Lobbies. So far that’s hit-or-miss as well, but has some potential. I’d like to start a “road car” lobby, but the only restriction I see is Gr.N cars. I assume this is a holdover from GTS because I can’t find any equivalent in GT7. So I’m left wondering: what’s included in the Gr.N class? Only road cars? Are Vision cars excluded? There don’t seem to be any sub-classes (N200, etc.), so what exactly is included and excluded from this group?

Any leads would be most appreciated.

Gr. N probably a leftover from Gt sport. Currently there is no way to set a roadcar only lobby. But you can set the name only roadcar and kick players that pick race cars.

Ever since 1.09(?) you can kick, it's been a few weeks now.

Also, you can limit most things, pp, tyres, hp, driving aids etc.

If these settings are right, they shouldn't even be able to use a "race car" that's competitive without using PP glitches, but yeah, just kick.

It’s just so stupid. We spend all this time “collecting” road cars when we don’t have good ways to use them other than setting up our own races, which of course can’t be restricted to road cars anyway!

Kick players who oppose the rules. Plain and simple. Pretty sure a road car only option will be added to lobbies but for now use this workaround.
