can somebody confirm remote racing is down again. I can't seem to log in. I get a site maintenance message all the time.

I'm also new to this, so I might add you. My PSID is numanair.

You have to change the password via the PS3.

thanks! I got ya added and I've been running some of your bobs. It's ashamed ya can only use on of your own. Ah yea I've changed my main accounts password via the ps3 just like normal. When I try it on my other account it just says it'll send an email which I never get..I check my spam folder too and nothing. It's probably sony still being stupid! Thanks though! Heck wish I was still on 3.55 so I could get a better save.

Same here- been racing gt5 since release.. 1k + cars etc.. lev 40 etc.. not many friends added and just starting out with remote. Been grinding solo for ever.

Seems like the best place to ask so I have a question for you guys if you dont mind;


I just tried remote racing from the internet for the first time... and I get error messages!

One time it said under maintenance. And the other I got a Bob 2 error message. (I think)

Has it been down a while? Any idea when it will be fixed?

I'm using firefox btw.. not sure if that is a factor?!

Yes, you do get more money/exp the more crowded the race is. In a 4 bob race you get the same payouts as racers get for positions 8 to 11 in a 16 bob race.

There are lots off arrows and helmets bit more of a description might help


Coloured arrows on the Drivers table on web site means the driver just changed a position if they change more than 1 positions there will be a number of places changed since last update.

At the final table there will be arrows to show the total change in position per race...

Just started remote racing yesterday, wish i had started earlier, since i have had the game since it's release.

Add: Nuclearfire and GTP_AtomicZombie

Use Nuclearfire to race my drivers with your remote races

And ill run your drivers on my GTP_AtomicZombie account

One question, do my drivers earn more money depending on how many other drivers are in the race? will i earn more money with 16 cars then with 2 in a remote race?

Is this the only set of races that have been in the remote race section or do PD update them once in a while?

Should an answer to this be in the FAQ on page 1? I've answered the same question not too long ago here. And now there are two more questions asking the same thing.

As to the answer, the prize money for 1st is higher the more drivers there are in the race. On the other hand, the prize money for last is higher the less drivers there are in the race. So if you tend to be at the top of the field, you'll want full fields, if you tend to find yourself at the bottom, smaller fields are actually more beneficial to you.

I race remote & finished race, yet there where NO PRIZES and nothing to find in standings list (the race is missing there) When i look in my Log i see the driver did start, but he never finished (according t Log) I'm sure i did everything by the book! So...??? what can be wrong?, i believe it's a bug/glitch and SONY & PD should do better Q&A ! (there more problems with GT5) Luckely theres much to enjoy in GT5, but losing XP / prize credits isn't funny
Hopefully it'll get fixed, it happened 3 times now, and i had enough of it after the first.
I wish non of you this glitch/bug or what ever it was/is (hope it stays away) happens too you lot, greetings stano666

Of cos, you can always add friends here. Check the sticky "B-spec Remote Race Friends" to add some.

I have the same problem. Remote Race with the PS3 works, but I can't reach the login page on the website (neither with Firefox or Chrome); Internet Explorer seemed to work, because it loaded the page to login, but then it also stucks.
