You do realize there is a lot of artificial dubbing on the trailer to achieve a certain feel, right? Chances are whoever was putting sounds to it didn't get the memo about the Tesla :-/.

If the tesla's sound got a boost in volume or bass or whatever you think they did, then all other cars would sound much louder than it, would they not? With PD being very immaculate with everything about their trailers, I doubt they'd do that just for the trailer.

The demo still has damage disabled.
Kaz said they still working on finishing the game so my guess is they still polishing the damage and rollover system. We can expect ot see a full reveal and blowout of info at TGS.

Plenty of the cars in GT5P had interiors and I highly doubt all of them are premium. I still stick by my idea of standard cars having interiors, but they're just not as detailed and don't take damage.

I think the only difference is that premium models have an air freshener for interiors and standard don't.

Interestingly, there's a significant lack of a co-driver, which could hint that they will only appear on point-to-point circuits. Of course thats a theory for now which could turn out wrong, but its definately a far cry from the same press demos we've seen up to this point. I also wonder if all the press shots we've been getting, from 09 Gamescom and TGS to E3 2010 were all using that photo mode one article elaborated on.

Just sent this to the author of the article from Kotaku,

"I will spare you the intro and cut right to the chase. Neogaf and GTPlanet (hardcore GT website 200k+ members) have been lost in a storm of confusion and debate on the meaning of premium and standard vehicles in GT5. We were hoping that you could clarify the matter. The specific topic in question is whether "standard" cars have their interiors (as in the cockpit of the car) modeled (like all cars GT5p and Forza 3)? Or if just "premium" cars have this interior view? If you could get a definitive answer to this question from any reputable source, it would be greatly appreciated and if you were to post a story on such a clarification you can be sure you will get a lot of traffic. Thank you for your time.

All hardcore GT5 fans."

Yeah I was a bit bored.

Lemme answer. Yes, standard cars have cockpit view just not as detailed as premium cars. Probably no working gauges, no harnesses, standard materials for dash, things like that.

yeah, Actually, I would expect cars like the Ferraris and Maseratis to be Standard cars due to licensing issues. ('cause Ferrari doesn't like their cars to get all mangled. Just look at the official Ferrari racing game that has the "most damage allowed by Ferrari ever")

yea and also it seem those so called pro racing sim journalist "InsideSimRacing"

didn't say nothing or even go to E3 play the game and give us some feed back like they did with foza 3 "saying forza 3 feels "so real" lol

they just showed their real fanboy faces. nice try Insidesimracing nice try....👎:yuck:

WTF? Yes they did, and they loved it. What are you talking about?

Did you see the Toyota FT-86 video? There was an engine track played over the video. Same goes with a lot of this trailer; whoever was in charge of matching the noises to the scenes probably just didn't realize they were throwing an internal combustion engine sound over an electric car.

Not that it clears anything up, but I just thought about it; if they're taking advantage of head-tracking with the Eye... and it's for the expressed use of interior view... that really does essentially confirm it. There's no way they'd offer head-tracking, and then only actually have it available on a select amount of cars... right?
