Holy crap, those top gear track pics look so realistic, even though they don't have much or even detailed objects, textures+lighting+colors really pulls it off!

Thats why you have the CHOICE. To accomodate your skill level, sure if it was up to some of us we'd cut it completely, but then how would you convince your friends to switch from NFS? Baby steps.

That's what the assists are for, right? :sly: So if you want to play the game without assists, there shouldn't be any.
 
Assists don't bridge the gap enough between arcade games and sims/GT. I know a fair few people who even with assists on cannot drive the car for the life of them in GT5p. They are ok though if you switch to arcade mode.

SrRd-> Just to point out to you few things on Post 1:

1. Your spelling of the Viper should be SRT-10 not STR-10 .

2. This (Nuevo) Rome Circuit is not a returned track rather its a (completely) new track, just the location is the same from the original ('90s, Millenium/'00).

3. You could add Indianapolis Speedway (aka. The Oval) as a new (playable) track.

you are saying this like F3 physic engine is crap.

actually i play a lot rfactor and lfs and i thougt just cars don't tend to oversteer much and i wasn't aware that there was helping hand.
 
Why is everyone crying about ISR? They ARE at E3 and from a post about 10 minutes ago from Darin Gangi:

Well before i play rfactor and LFS i turn off all the steering aids, and hopefully they are not Permanent like FM3... and yes F3 physic engine is weak and with a wheel its **ap...
