Sorry to drop into the conversation.....did Sony threaten legal action or anything of the sort on this website, or was it a decision by Jordan to remove the info...?

Come on Sony, release some official media dammit. I want screenshots from the finished game, showing the new cars and more importantly, the locations that I'll be using most for photomode.
👍 Kind of lackluster that the new update in the News section is photos from the 2010 GT Awards show. No offense to GTP or those who participated - but after seeing videos of the real game, it just doesn't satisfy in the same way.
Sony could take back some power by just announcing the release date.
And it was smart for GTP to remove the links rather then leave them up and hurt any current or future relationship with Sony and PD. Like I said, the videos are still readily available on YouTube, so it's not like GTP had to concede much by just removing the links to them.
I think it's fairer to say the answers come from Kazunori Yamauchi rather than PD as when he's doing interviews he normally gives personal answers rather than a "corporate" response, it's not massively relevant though as he pretty much is PD.
I do think it makes a difference who is asking the questions but more importantly GTPlanet will ask different questions to the usual ones he's been asked in every other interview so he is more likely to be interested and give some good answers.
Another example of this was when GTPlanet member Ahmed Al Azmi met Kaz and got Kazunori Yamauchis Best Interview, Ever

I was just thinking that in all my years of playing video games I have never seen leaked footage of a game that has no release date. Surely the only reason for this is because Sony are waiting for the COD BO hype to quieten down. With this in mind iim guessing Sony will announce the release date either tomorrow or Friday.

At the moment the gaming world is buzzing due to the release of Black Ops. Im assuming Sony want to announce the GT5 release date once this has quitened down.
I will add im only assuming here and could be completely wrong as per usual lol.
