Thanks for all videos everybody. Amazing gfx

If only they can make track look more damp and improve water effects lol. cockpit view looks great though in water and snow

Maserati Gran turismo on Deep forrest

And Mercedes 300SL on the nordschleife (AMG driving school) notice the game tells you the name of each corner of the nordschleife

and a small recap :
Damage on standard Cars :

Standard car on autumn ring

F430 scuderia demo mode in dealership

SLS in wet SSR7 (night) +replay and new angles

finally, Megane RS in wet + replay

Damn that looks real. Can you do a demo vid of the stock premium honda s2000 06, or do not all cars have a demo mode?

If the honda S2000 06 is premium, then it should have demo mode 👍
Will check

have you tried the lexus lfa 2005perric? was not too happy the way the maserati gran turismo sounded..
nope but neither was I xD (as you will have noticed in the caption :dopey:)

I'm sick of all the whining going on here, how are PD supposed to make the damage system completely realistic in a game such as GT5? I mean if they do that then a single crash at 120km/h might end the race for you, is that what you really want?

Thats what i really want:tup::drool:

Could we get a video of Trial Mountain please? It'd be much appreciated!

I'm afraid it's bed time for me, I'll ask my friend if he can do that, I'm back to my place now ;). I'm almost sure he fell asleep after I left  and since the camera is next to ME.... won't be possible for now ;)

water effects like in F1 2010 could be great with that kind of graphics in GT5 don´t you think?

Alright, thanks anyways! Even tomorrow would be nice if you have the time :)

Wow, that's a nice touch with the lights in that building.
The game looks fantastic.

I have noticed that there is no dust/dirt accumulation like shown in the Stealth McClaren F1 gameplay video.

Some days I wonder if all the awesome visual features PD showed off in demos were just hype flair and aren't actually in the game. That's why I didn't like how they constantly delayed it to tweak it; you were never sure if the features they promoted actually made it fully into gameplay.

maybe you need to race for more than 10 laps before you start to notice any?

The McLaren F1 was driving on a dirt track, so that's why you saw a large amount of dirt on the car. I don't think you will see a ton of dirt accumulating on cars just by driving off into the grass one time like the picture above. It should take a few races to get your car dirty, unless you just drive offroad the entire time in a race.

Does anyone know if doing weight reductions on a premium car changes the interior? Things like the steering wheel being replaced with a race one, or a roll cage?

Now this you could be right about. The video of the McLaren getting dirty was racing a 1 lap race, is what it said in the top left corner.

But who knows if they had been playing with that car for more than a few races.

Did anybody notice the dirty tires, I love it. The grass looks sweet to.

One of the earlier videos at Laguna Seca showed some sandy tires.
Maybe the next game dirt will get tracked on to the racing surface.

so ive been playing gt5 for the past few hours (because i didn't want to install it, too much of a wait) and...i would STRONGLY recommend that you do the full install, even the in car view is choppy because the game constantly needs to load vs having the file on there

it sucks because it doesn't prompt you to do this right away....so many people will not...and this the game is a) slow and b) hiccupy, which it is not if youve installed

sucks, those who are well informed about the install will have no worries and those who are not well informed will criticize the game for load times...lets hope reviewers don't make that mistake

play without install for a few hours to get it out of your system, then go to options and full install

im lovin the game!

ill post pics if i get time, i work alot and might just want to play when i get on my ps3 haha, not to worry, only days away and we are all in the same boat

also, my gt5 feels VERY incomplete without all of you to play against online, come soon!

Really? Are you sure something isn't up with your playstation? It seems like a really odd choice to leave an option in that creates huge chopiness and actually doesn't make much sense as the entire level should have been loaded into memory before the race even starts...

Yikes everyone is playing it now, I need to visit my retailers today and hope to get lucky.

ill take my premium rx7 on dirt tmrw a few times and see if it stays on

also, first car i bought was a celica, used, standard, worked well!

one more point of clarification, im sure its been cleared, standards look great!!!

Oh man it would be really cool to get 2 of the same cars (one standard one premium) and drive them side by side to see the difference in details. ex. S2000, 300zx, Aston Martin.

That would be awesome, I also want to know!

As would I! It would make sense, especially when you read the descriptions of Weight Reduction in GT4. And since Premium cars are supposed to be modeled inside and out... I guess we'll just have to wait until someone posts screen-shots soon -- or we find out ourselves in a few days. :nervous:
