TBH I find engine swapping to be a useless concept. If you're going to swap in a powerful engine from one car into another car, you might as well just buy the former and not bother with the latter. It defeats the purpose of having that many cars.

I think someone should make a series of screenshots(or a video) showing the different types of rims we can choose from. I'd really like to see what we get to put on your cars, to differentiate from each other online.

Can someone explain why this car suddenly has different rims on it? I though this was the EK9 from that infamous "you can't change rims on standard cars" video.

well if you can turn map off I didnt found it. You can turn trajectory off but map you can set how big it is but I didnt saw any option about turning it off. Rims are meh and premium only. I sadly can't do video.

P/S Honda CIVIC TYPE R (EK) ‘97

Premium. 👍

Looks like the Murcielago SV to me.

Its a Gallardo with a few bits bolted on.. that is all. Not a Mercie. The Mercie lacks the tall side intakes in-front of the rear wheels, headlights are much bigger and the whole car is MUCH bigger than the Gallardo. Damn scary thing to drive too :sly:

Those jaggies on the drift pics are from the heat effects on replays correct? Sorry to bring this up if its already been stated.....

The jaggies are from a problem in rendering the particle effects (smoke, dirt, or rain) and it distorts how the car looks. Pretty jarring looking. I hope they fix it with a patch.

Looks like the Murcielago SV to me.

Except the car is a Gallardo.

it wasn't ek9 it was eg6, previous generation of honda civic

Yeah it doesn't look bad but it looks nowhere near as cool as the Hatchback Civic Type-R, I wonder why PD chose that car? Weird.

Because unlike the Euro Type-R which has a crude torsion beam rear axle, the Japanese 4-door has a multi-link rear and mechanical LSD and is thought by many to be better than even the Integra Type R. EVO raved about the FD.
