This was just uploaded, but I'm not sure if it is really gamescon 2010. (Note the fixed map)

Hahahahah It's from last year. I perfectly remeber the subaru hitting the white box....and the guy with the red bag near the end

All I need to need to know from the event tomorrow is a clarification of the 20/70 location/variation speculation (no specifics, just a clear explanation on how to understand these numbers). Maybe that's too much to expect, I don't know? That would be a relief at least.

just came back from Cologne; I staid at the press conference until I was kicked out :) Then I met with Famine and Venari, they have safely arrived in Cologne. Tomorrow - or rather in 4 hours - I head back there for the GT special session.

The demo is more comprehensive than at E3 - and no time limit. So i got to drive for as long as I wanted. Some fun stuff in there but we're not allowed to show any footage until Thursday, 9am. Sorry!

Next stop? The Kaz-Interview (hopefully).

Hmmm?
At 1:09 i think i see two new tracks...
GamesCon 2010 Trailer = E3 2010 Trailer.
So don't bother posting the trailer.

Holy crap skidmarks!!

It's about time!

Does this look to anyone else like a GIANT TV and the guy you can see is looking at it with 3D glasses?

Nice skidmarks when the Ferrari spins out. But when the car gets back on track and starts accelerating again, there's no skids. Not complaining as TC could have been turned up, but that's something we should take a note of.

I'd just like to find out what those 2 new tracks are...
The one looks like Monza and the other one looks like Cathedral Rocks Trail 3.

And so it begins. :ouch:

It does look like the wheels maintain grip while he gets back up to speed, I don't see any smoke then so it's quite possibly just no reason for skids. When he goes back across the track more or less sideways, you see skids again....

PD will do the skid marks to a realistic standard. Just because the tyres are spinning doesnt mean you will always leave a mark

Totally agree. Any case, I'm not trying to be nit-picky here. I'm sure later videos will give us all a better idea of this neat little detail. Keep these nice videos coming. :)

I'm not an expert on the Miura, so I have to ask; does it normally have eyelashes on one headlight?

They're on both sides in the picture, if that's what you're wondering. Look closely and you can see the top. The bottom is too dark and far away on the right to fully see.

Totally agree with these guys. A lot of the time when the wheels are spinning, cars don't leave skidmarks. From what I can see PD did it really well. It's a big turnoff seeing skidmarks laid down for anything and at low speeds in Forza and Need For Speed. Very arcade looking and I'm glad PD decided to do it right now that they've finally included them.

All I know is:

If you're going to play the demo and record it: Pick the Zonda R :)

Totally agree with this too. :D

Of course it would be great to see the Muira, P3/4, Mark IV GT40, and the XJ13 as well. And race on Monza!
