This is so depressing, I live 30 Km away from Cologne and can't go to the GamesCom. 8( Stupid handicap.

Anyway, I wish everyone who will travel to Germany tons of fun and I hope you enjoy your time here and at the GC.

I think he speaks of some physical handicap that wont allow him to go , since I read once he cant play with wheel because of his handicap , other wise I'd do that too !

GT PSP and GT5P aren't v-synced and have visible tearing :irked:.

Request:

Could someone examine tearing and frame rate of the GT5 demos?
It's difficult to judge on videos.

For anyone going to Gamescom I'd like to request a video if it's not too much trouble. I would like to see how the cars behave when you throw them around, preferably an FR car. So I'm talking spin a few donuts, try and drift the car, some power overs and scandinavian flicks would be nice and just generally being a hoon.

This would show if there have been improvements in the tire model and overall physics. Tell us how it feels with the wheel too, if it's controllable by feathering the throttle or if its even controllable at all. Please try this on Professional physics with no traction and stability control with normal tires. Then maybe see the difference in the other physics mode. I might be asking too much but whatever can be done will be appreciated by me and surely by other members here at GTPlanet too.

Have a good time!

Cheers

I hope fellow GT enthusiasts won't be too hard to spot. I can't provide any video footage - by the time videos are rendered by my old laptop most of us will have their copy of GT5 in their own hands. But I try to do some cocking about on the TGTT, given the track is available and time limit permits, and do my very best to give feedback on my impressions.

Not everyone has the skill to do that though. I see guys doing some drifts in GT5:P with a wheel that I can't do myself in the same car. ie
I get plenty of snap oversteer with a wheel, but it obviously doesn't seem to trouble every person the same way.

I have a request, presuming Kaz doesn't provide a straight answer, get some video of a standard car and try and get an interior view! Cycle through the view points, race in the interior view if possible. Please don't just get video of premium models if the choice is there because they look better.

I'm reading a lot of very high expectations about the information we are going to get from Gamescom, It seems like everybody is expecting a lot of information and I have seen some people go as far as expecting to see full car lists?!

Is everybody expecting a lot of information for any particular reason? From PD's press releases in the past they seem to give little pieces of information at a time. At E3 they released a good amount of information yet it was still a little vague, are we not expecting too much?

I personally am not expecting any more than the following.
-Clarify the information on Standard vs Premium car interior/cockpits.
-European release date.
-Information about the signature editon car competition (Where you win a real AMG SLS)
-Maybe some screens or a new trailer.

And I think that is expecting a lot...

Yet I do hope they give us a lot of information, they do need to clear some things up.
