Is the PS Blog going to have live coverage of TGS? I can;t wait to see all the info on GT.

Highly unlikely. It would be a really bad business move to release it that close after Christmas. Don't you think they would want to cash in on the holiday sales? It will be out before then.
 
I cant believe for a second that a major title like GT would release 4 days after Christmas. :dunce:

Actually if anything expect them to take FULL advantage of Christmas, mayby even a GT5 PS3 Slim combo pack to drive sales of PS3's.

December 29th release date would be a disaster, at least in America! Also, those are retailer dates. You'll find dates ranging from tomorrow until 2010. It's just to fill in the void.
 
What's all the gigantic deal about this? First, they will have more booths with more cars and more tracks with updated damage physics, then Kaz will go up on stage, talk a bit about GTPSP, then announce a release date for GT5 OR A huge disappointment . That's all. Why even care about the release date that much, you're still going to get it, aren't you?
 
I actually don't care much about the release date at TGS. If the date isn't revealed, I'd be slightly upset, but I really want IN-GAME news. Like PJ-FFL said, we know the game will arrive, but we don't know what will be within the game. That's more important, in my opinion.
 
This week will get a new video at least I guess and some more indepth info about PSP GT and perhaps GT5.

Just breathe and wait and see.
 
At this point, the game is already on track to be released at some date in the not-too-distant future. Whether they publish that date now or at some later stage is of little consequence. Although I guess the same could be said about the game's content.

Still, I'd much rather get news of a few major features. I can wait excited but patiently for a few months if I know what I'm waiting for!

Amazon would have to be wrong,no-one with any sense would release it after xmas. If it`s it coming this year then it`s landing before xmas. If it did happen to land after xmas we`d all still buy it though but it`s sales would be low compared to before xmas.
 
Im not saying i would be dissapointed.... im just talking about the people hyping the game..

You remember all to well what happen after GC2009...that sort of thing, i don't really care, as i'm going to buy the game no matter what.

and at devedander i put dissapointment the first time and apparently the English interweb dictionary(aka red underline) does not count it as a word.... nope instead they said it was disappointment.. which is what i put. :P

Amazon, not for the first time, are wrong. If the game does not release before Christmas 2009, it will be some time in Q1 2010 when it releases. People will be annoyed, but they will soon get over it.

Personally, I am anticipating the 4th or 11th of December (Europe).
 
Did anyone think of the opportunity that Amazon is saying dec 29th because they 'know' it will be 2009 but don't want to disappoint their customers by saying the game they preorderd is delayed?

Nah, they propably just pulled that date out of their ass. ;)
 
2 new games are to be revealed, but other than that i expect the same lineup as we saw at E3 and GC, since many of these games are still not released and they can still tease people with news about them. (Uncharted 2, GoW3, MAG, Heavy Rain) Hopefully they give us some news on Rockstars new exclusive ip.

I bet GT5 will be the biggest one, though some people might be disappointed after the announcement, because it might not live up to the hype.

i'm pretty sure we all would download. Not a good question to ask on a Gran turismo forum.
