Let's just hope after PD's TGS presentation GT fans don't feel the need to defend what was presented.

GT1 etc. spoke for themselves, I hope hope GT5 does the same.

Here's the beauty that could grace out GT5 boxarts soon

Oh yeah!👍 I'd bet my pants it's going to be this baby on GT5's cover!

Mercedes SLS AMG ‘Highlight’ of Gran Turismo 5 at TGS added to page one of this topic. The list keeps growing, and it's still not TGS! OH, LORD! 3 DAYS!

EDIT: The ZR1 overrated? How did that come about?

The ZR1 is the hottest "new" vette, the look is realy evolving, maybe nissan should hire that design team to make the future 370z(390?z) more mean, 370 is meaner than 350 but its gotta be meaner.

not to sure were to post this???
but just thought i would have a look in see if it had a date.

What do you think???

Confirmed !!!! its a 2010 release date[1] !!!! This news is all over the web [2]

[1] This is not a confirmation. Until its MADE OFFICIAL BY SONY it means nothing. There are another 50 threads that are locked due to unfounded speculation such as this.

[2] As long as the only part of the web you look at is www.play-asia.com

They need to bring the Z back to its roots, man! that thing was/is awesome!

 WHAT?!

The ZR1 is America's girl next door, except with 638 HP. :)

Off topic: The ZR1 Looks decent, but the polycarbonate window looks so cheap/tacky. This is not a Lambo, Ferarri or R8 here. It competes in performance, but not in styling.

Either way, the ZR1 will be one of the more sought after cars in GT5 (at least for me!). It will definitely give the higher-priced European supercars a challenge. And I love the fact that the ZR1 is only like $100,000. Talk about getting a bang for your buck!

I think it looks FAR better than any modern Ferrari, Audi and Lamborghini.

For the price and for the performance, I'd roll up on a Lambo in a ZR1. American muscle does have it's merits over Euro whatever they got (styling? Over-pricing?).

Wow it's been a while since I posted.

Damn you Chemistry class!

It's still just a vette. Loud, nasty and american. It will rattle itself to pieces in a few years and the interior is still junk. That $100,000 price tag is all for the motor and the GM created hype.

I don't mean to offend anyone but that is my opinion. I want to like vettes but GM just blows it with poor build quality and shoddy plastic interiors.

But for a video game car it will be great, and that's what we are talking about here right? A video game.

You're right. What Lamborghini is going to stand a chance against a ZR1? I'd say only the Murciélago Super Veloce. Still, the autocar vid showed that the ZR1 kept up with the SV.

Aesthetically, the Lamborghini's exotic look will catch American eyes, like mine, but on the track, I'm picking the ZR1.

Nonetheless, I can't wait to sit behind the wheel of any Lamborghini. :)

@Simpleskin
GM does crap out on interiors I'll give you that. But there's something special about a Corvette that no other American car can give.
