Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

Jann, the driver (is that him?), is passing all the old games, it seems. Hence, GT1, GT2, etc.
I see GT1, GT2, white car GT3 or 4?, GT5

1 car is missing

EDIT: Quality is terrible, I'm watching the 1080p version and can't see ****.

Could the White car be some strange version of the VW W12 Nardo?

EDIT: No, not even close.

The R34 is clearly marked GT1. I imagine the S7 is GT2. The white car is too hard to read. The car after the white car is a red GT-R that is marked GT3. Strange, I guess....out of order.

I have a hunch the R35 is GT5.

So we have 5 cars, two of which have license plates that are difficult to read.

We're all bored, so we're nitpicking the littlest details....I wouldn't read too much into it, but I guess that's the fun of speculation.

The white car has to 100% GT4 on its plate. Just saw it, let me take a pic...

It'd be great to identify it (the white car's model), but obviously their license plates don't necessarily correspond to when the cars appeared, except for the red R35 marked GT5.

GT1 didn't have a R34.

GT2 didn't have an S7.

A new car for GT6?

Hi everyone.
I just want to point out that the cars aren’t real. If you look at the video at 0:19, the shadow of the car has aliasing. So the only real car here is the Nissan, the other cars with the GT plate numbers aren’t real.

Also, since Nissan uploaded the vid on their channel, more than likely that the 2014 Nissan GT-R will be the car cover (Prologue deja vu?).

Really? Never thought... 👍👍👍👍👍 Thanks for helping us that much!

EDIT:

Seriously (before you regret it), welcome to GTP! :gtpflag:

Also, I thought GT1 did have a R34?
Edit: I was wrong, it didn't as it was released in 98.

The light's look like the TMS GTR concept... how again did the Nissan GTR LM Race Car look? Let me see...

GTR LM Road Car perhaps, lol

What if GT Academy comes first with GT6 engine/graphics?
And later on GT6 of course. Like GT Academy being "the demo" for it. Just 4 cars, some tracks...at the end a lap at Silverstone.

No Prologue and waste of our money.

It will be epic and it will catch more attention for GT Academy than it has now.

How could people even mistake those other cars for real cars? They're all clearly in-game cars.

Unless of course real-life is now being shown in a much lower resolution. :D

 The plate says GT4... but I can't find the car in GT4.

edited that post
I've double checked IGCD.net's car list for all Gran Turismo games and Googled for every possible forgotten and japanese concept car but I still can't find/identify it. The only car that came to my mind was the hideous Mitsuoka Orochi - and the Spyker B6 Venator Concept, which I forgot to mention earlier - but it is obviously way too off compared to the one in the video. Intriguing, to say the least.

Sure (click enlarge)

I somehow have the feeling that I've seen this car before...

Thanks, that feeling of having seen the car before might be due to it having a lot of familiar supercar cues yet I've yet to find a car looks exactly like it.

A definite possibility, although a TERRIBLE idea if it is. History has shown that only a small minority want to build a completely fictitious car. They have no relevance. The majority want to spice up existing cars. Hopefully, it allows for that feature as well.

What history? A small amount of previous games which did it with the then current hardware limitations?
Recent history has shown that people are willing to 'crack the code' of GT5 to create hybrids not resembling any existing car other than their appearance.
It would only be an addition, not replacing existing cars, and if something like it would see the light of day, believe me, it has a lot of relevance for those who are creative.
That the majority aren't very creative is probably a fact in every other aspect of life as well, yet they do make frequent use of the creativity of others.

Whatever it is, I bet it's a Nissan!

Edited a bit to show the specific lines of the rear fenders and the sharp air intake on the side profile, still not looking familiar at all.

If it is fictional.

My specs I would like are:

Twin Turbo V8
HP: 650hp
Torque: 550 Ibs/ft torq
Suspension: double wishbone
1450kg
0-60: 2.8 secs
0-100: 6.5 secs
6 speed manual

PD can finish the rest.
