The pre load is done system-wise, not game wise (meaning it's the PS software doing this, not the game). The game will still run on the "old" version until tomorrow when the timer runs out and the update gets installed.Im away from my console at the moment,as its a pre-load are you able to play the game normally whilst its downloading or is it like all other GT7 updates?
You have time to harvest your own coffee beans too!I think I have a little bit of time for a cup of coffee on this one…
I think it is just like a download, I was not playing but the game was opened and I can use it it thinkIm away from my console at the moment,as its a pre-load are you able to play the game normally whilst its downloading or is it like all other GT7 updates?
If only that would include some textures to allow cars get properly dirty during races. Seeing them get filthy from a long wet race would be wonderful. GT7 is very sterile. It can be simply a new texture pack for PS5 version.
That's already in the game, they just don't use it.If only that would include some textures to allow cars get properly dirty during races. Seeing them get filthy from a long wet race would be wonderful. GT7 is very sterile.
Until the patch notes come around, I wouldn't assume anything. So let me get this right, this huge update may only be relevant for PS5 Pro owners. Therefore I will have to find another 32GB of storage for something that may not be of any benefit as I am on a standard PS5. If so then I am not happy. I am already having to swap out games as GT7 is so huge. Great!
No.So let me get this right, this huge update may only be relevant for PS5 Pro owners.
Yes but as PS4 owners are not getting the pre-install update i doubt if there is anything in here like a new track as they would also be getting the update. Makes sense this is some kind of PS5 Pro release.for GT7. I may be wrong granted but I cannot see what else it would be.Until the patch notes come around, I wouldn't assume anything.
That 32GB will likely swop out a chunk of the GT7 file size rather than just add to it. You'll need 32GB free in the first place, obviously, but i would be surprised if it didn't just add a regular-sized addition to the games file size when all done and dusted. So let me get this right, this huge update may only be relevant for PS5 Pro owners. Like removing the old Suzuka for a fresher one? That 32GB will likely swop out a chunk of the GT7 file size rather than just add to it.
Other patches that included tracks also didn't have a preload. I'm not even 100% sure that PS4 updates support preload?Yes but as PS4 owners are not getting the pre-install update i doubt if there is anything in here like a new track as they would also be getting the update. Cough cough. No you didn't say anything wrong...i guess I read it kinda wrong. It will be interesting if they do a full UI overhaul before they release the demo.
If it's that big, I think I'll pass.Somthing big is comming!!!!
I wonder how this will affect the Legends Car economy...Somthing big is comming!!!!
If it can (and it does) preload games prior to release, then the same would be possible for game updates.I'm not even 100% sure that PS4 updates support preload?

Yes. A 32GB one. Starting about four hours ago...Sounds like a massive update is coming,
You would hope, 32gb would seem kinda small though if it was?Hi-Res texture?
This isn't a bad shout actually - if they are updating textures then it'd make sense rather than spending time upgrading current Suzuka textures that we already know they have a replacement for.Like removing the old Suzuka for a fresher one?
