I get why they'd do that, though - to keep players coming back. I think as a compromise, I'd let you select the color of a given car in the UCD/LCD, rather than wait forever for a certain model to come in a certain color. Especially if you're waiting for a lower-mileage example in the UCD...
I'd make them prize cars for winning races, and rewinning the event gets you another colour of the car.. it worked for GT4.

Digging the Mission X in VR. Did the two lap race at Nordschleife. Love that Porsche made it RR. HVE to actually drive it instead of just mashing the go pedal if it were 4WD. Accelerating to top speed the noise is scary. Tyres are supremely quiet on the road surface though. Cockpit is so nice with the mix of screens and overall design. I’d buy one if it were real.

In VR Showroom, the footwell lighting is too cool when turning on the lights.

The sound actually isn't too bad, I was pleasantly surprised and even mildly impressed. As usual the balance of sources is off, but that is (as usual) due to the lack of a dedicated intake sound source. And the intake is a major feature on this car, for more than one reason.

It's a great addition to the series, just a shame about the grind.
for me, the Merc is a great addition, well worth emptying half my garage to afford it, ironically on the point of the "grind" its great for the Le Mans grind once you have one to get some more money in the bank- it bounces over those last 2 chicanes a real treat

Just noticed that the Ford Escort Cosworth is a design by the famous American auto designer Frank Stephenson. Here's hoping we get another one of his designs - the road-going McLaren P1 - relatively soon.
