So much of a flop that the
second generation CH-R was not sold in Japan. That being said, the CH-R does have a N24 participation to its achievement list, which might be a potential GT Auto aero part set:

@Normalaatsra There was nothing impressive about it. I didn't even know there was a second generation anywhere in the world because they also dropped it from the US market in favor of the Corolla Cross, which is a considerably more useable and cheaper alternative, and is somehow both less stylish AND less ugly.
The CH-R was a total flop in the US. It was neither sporty nor useable, with a stupid coupe-like roof that compromised cargo and rear seat space compared to competitors. Miserable drivetrains. Worse yet, in America the CH-R was only offered in FWD which was a huge miss when competitors were offering AWD. People were even choosing to buy
old cars over the CH-R, like my 2005 Rav4 which is the same size but offered AWD 15 years prior at the time the CH-R was new.
But you know what? I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Currently in America the CH-R is only a few years old and most are still pretty expensive. But by the time this thing is 10 years old and most examples have 100,000 miles, they'll probably be less than $10,000 which is first-car territory for a lot of American youths. And youths can't help but modify their cars. Perhaps the CH-R will turn out to be a cheap and modifiable platform? It's got a good platform although the drivetrains are completely useless. If anybody wants to have fun, a relatively expensive and complex manual swap will be in order but no manuals were offered in the US as far as I'm aware.
This seems like a stupid and boring addition to the game but we gotta keep in mind that
most of the cars included in GT2 that we reminisce over were indeed stupid and boring economy cars. I would still prefer to have those older, more established boring cars in GT7 rather than a newish one that hasn't blossomed yet but hey, maybe they've actually picked one that will be relevant in ten years, as many of those GT2 cars were back in the day.
I'll say it here - this CH-R addition is a better choice than another GT-R or a Vision GT or a new Ferrari. We need more regular, attainable, modifiable cars in the game. I'd rather have dozens of older ones, but the CH-R is indeed the type of regular ass car that we need.
Edit:
@Famine I'm pretty sure that's an EF Civic, not an AH. The AH has a notably taller headlamp with no landing a chamfer between it and the bumper to catch light like the EF does. The AF also has straighter, taller hood creases and its sprayers are further apart. The EF's bumper sticks out further than the AH. The rear edge of the EF's hood is a continuous line while the AH dips around the cowl vent.
