Gran Turismo 7 and GT Sport User Interface Fan Art

Here's something small I just did. The "career mode" selection. I have it look similar to the little windows you see before starting GT5 or 6 when the game gives you options on how you want to play the game such as screen options and what not. To add onto those screens, one would allow players to now select their career mode.
GT7 Career Mode Selection.png

If PD saw something similar to my vision, then there would be 3 different career modes to select from:

1. Sandbox Mode - Players would be allowed to do whatever they please. They could have options from simply picking the car they want to drive and just choose which race series to start and go from there. Sandbox Mode is here to just be pure fun.

2. Classic Mode - It's the same, old GT career mode that fans know and love. Though, it has a few improvements made over the previous GT career modes as there will be plenty of events to do and have fun with.

3. Simulation Mode - This mode is full-on simulation. The A.I. will be at their most competitive, the assists will be all off, and the events will be realistic. Players can enter events that resemble the ones in real life such as FIA GT3 or WRC. It truly is a made aimed torwards the more hardcore crowd.

Decided to give it a try.

Imagine the images in the background of every car showroom changing every few seconds (all B&W, taken from official promotion photos or real races).

This is an amazing design! Very clean thus very fitting.
the only thing I'd change it's the font. Calibri is like Arial - it kinda makes it feel a little bit rushed.
but besides that, amazing work!

One thing I would personally change is the font of the info of both company and player, I'd probably change it to Helvicta font, these basically:

helvetica-neue.gif

It would give the same clean look (sans-serif text does that) and fits with the GT logo, which uses an italic version of Helvetica Neue Black.

Then again I'm picky about fonts.

I would have used Helvetica and i did for my last one, but its paid for so its a bit of a pain to install that font.

You sure? I'll probably be able to find a (legal) free one for you if you like 👍

This is my race selection screen, I went a little far with the count of races, but every value here is used as an example, I've used a black background for these special events, but other categories have different colors, like in GT6, the idea here was to replicate the look of GT5 Prologue as close as possible, a little of GT HD Concept is present:

Here are some of my ideas, some of them are not intended to be used on this screen.

Game Mode: Switch between A-Spec, B-Spec or let's call it "C-Spec," which is a "cooperative" race with a friend.

Quick Regulations: take a look at the regulations of the event by pressing the "options" button, on the left side of the screen, regulations are displayed and at the right shortcuts to your garage, recommended cars, car settings, etc.

Entry Indicator: the small lights in the events window let you know if you can participate in the event, if this light is green it means that either your car meets the regulations, you have a car available in your garage that meets the regulations or one that meets them after you adjust it's settings or that you have enough credits to buy a recommended car, full details are displayed when you press the options button or before you start up the event, just like in GT6.

Variety Races: Variety means that not every race is a regular race, I was thinking of something like a 1 lap time trial against other drivers time in different circuits, just like the rally events in 5, but without cars or overtake challenges overtaking as many oponents as you can, the one with the most overtakes wins, other events could include sector based time trials, with specific parts of the track with cones, hitting a cone gives you penalties or just combinations of all these things, there are lots of possibilities here.

50 / 50:
in these events, for example, you have street car "variety races" and 5 championship races with race cars if available.

Locked Events: Complete the required task to unlock an event, for example turning on penalties and winning 10 races in a row without getting any penalty, the event description is hidden here

Full Event Description: detailed history for the event, like for example active years, organizer anything to make the events feel a little more "human.". A featured, scripted video for the event showing off the competitors of the event which takes me to the next item:

Top 3 Drivers: A little resume for the 3 top AI drivers for the event, this resume includes things like total races/victories, car specs, etc, also there is a small bio available for them, these drivers also would have a slightly better AI than the rest of the other AI, but only minimal to give them an edge over other competitors, this way they can also lose some races, of course all of this would be only possible with good AI.

Challenges: Once a series is completed, a challenge it's unlocked for the corresponding event, it's a one on one race against THE top driver of the event using a courtesy car, only A Spec it's available here, completing all challenges in any racing category unlocks a car in a special livery only awarded in these challenges.

Perfect! But the pre race screen?

Perfect! But the pre race screen?

Baby steps! :D it took me quite a lot to do this one, and since I don't have too much free time, it took me even more time, right now I am working on the options menu, since it shouldn't take to long, here is a screen, it's still early, the only thing I think i am going to left as it is it's the right window, I am thinking to use the PS4 touch screen to scroll up or down the information in the regulations window and the directional buttons are used to move the cursor:

Sadly i dont have the skill to make one of these but if i could make one i would make a stats screen. I would make it kinda like a mixture of GT4 and GT6. I like the GT6 stats screen but from GT4 I like how they had a percentage of your win ratio. I never got good at GT4, there was something about its driving style that i couldnt get use to so my percentage of how much i won a race was in the high 40s or something :irked:

So basically what im saying is i would like to see someone make a stats screen for GT7 like how i described it. Simple like GT6 but adding some features from GT4.

I don't recall seeing anyone doing the Seasonal Events part on this thread (although I might be wrong)..
so I'm doing one!

Currently I've only done the art for the events.

Nice work. However, the standard Mazda roadster just kills the picture. :(

I am currently trying to replicate some of GT5 Event Cards, I am going to do just the event names, not the full cards, I was going to use them in my event selection UI but I have to re adjust everything to fit the icons, and honestly, I don't really want to work on it again, I am going to post them in case anyone wants to use them in their designs, you just need to do a background for them, there are some minor differences in some of the fonts, but they look close enough:
