The M4 Safety car is the only safety car with the different labelling.

All other Safety cars have the Gran Turismo The Real Simulator logo. Would be cool though since thats a real Safety car.

Of course this tweet has nothing to do with GT, but all other safety cars besides M4 have the GT logo because they are fictional. So if PD actually added that Supra it could very well have a livery like that and not the yellow one with a GT logo on it because, just like M4, it's a real safety car.

The AMG is a real safety car. I can understand why it doesn't have F1 decals though.

I think we'll definitely get an update in the next 30 or so days but probably in early May rather than April so they can skip a month 🙄 hopefully followed by a bigger one just before or after the live event in June which might contain a track and/or some heavily requested cars.

I think it'll be the standard 3 cars again this month.

My predictions are:

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C5) '00 or Buick GNX '87 - there has never been more than four updates without an American car and since the last "American" car was actually German, we're well overdue! It has to be one of these two GT legends in my opinion, I'm leaning towards the C5 as being more likely but the GNX is having a bit of a moment, being featured on stage during the Super Bowl half-time show.

Mazda Roadster (NB) '01 - one of those cars that I'm surprised isn't in-game already, the NB Roadster/Miata/MX5 (delete as appropriate) is a classic middle-of-the-road GT7 update choice.

Land Rover Series III '71 - it wouldn't be a GT7 update in 2025 without a vehicle wildly inappropriate for racing, and the iconic classic Land Rover is just the kind of thing that would catch Kaz's eye. Expect a ludicrous V8 swap eventually.

And of course there'll be the usual three races (so many Sunday Cups lately) and some scapes, as well as some cool swaps and maybe a slight physics change.

I think I've cracked their formula: 1 ugly-ass car that has no business being on a racetrack, one current soulless SUV or HRV or whatever they're called these days, and one racecar or high-end sportscar that is at least 10-15 years old.

The amount of Group C cars already in the game, and also because it is a fan favorite, so they can bring players back on. Also, it's a Toyota, so it is bound to return
Next time, actually go with that in your first post:
Predictions are guesses with evidence.
This is a condition of posting in these threads.

Although no Group C cars have ever been added in updates, and only two Gr.1 cars ever (Toyota GR010, Genesis X Gran Racer), just so you know.

They have had a model of it since GT4
That's unlikely to be of sufficient detail on which to base a GT7 (8K-compatible) model.

Edit: «sigh»

The Michelin branding deal is over so we can get tire stickers on street cars.

EDIT: That's a wish. 🤦‍♂️😭

I personally believe that update 1.59 will bring further implementation of SOPHY. With the upcoming release of B-SPEC which will (or should) introduce qualifying and tyre strategies, it seems essential for Polyphony Digital to let us test these features before that.

Therefore, my prediction is quite logical: two or three new cars, two new SOPHY-compatible tracks, and expanded features for SOPHY/custom races.

One thing I would like to see and predict is an engine swap.
I feel it would be the 2UR-GSE, as this goes with the previous V8 swaps and with the upcoming addition of the Toyota Supra to the 2026 season of the Australian V8 Supercar series, which will use an engine derived from the 2UR-GSE.
Adding this swap would allow people to build all 3 cars from the series with the correct engines.

Also, this swap has been done to the older AE86 and the newer 86/BRZ/FR-s. It would go well in the older Supras and Crown!

I can only see the 3UZ for the Crown, not the newer 2UR from the RD-F/LC500 Lexus
Just had a look. Plus, I also thought the V8 was available for the Supra A90, but it’s the LFA engine. You are correct my mistake. That would make a sweet swap.
