So I’m downloading an update file that just got out. Version 1.060.000

They know about the tyres thing and some other bugs. Was it this buggy at the launch of GT Sport? I was studying abroad when it launched so couldn't get it until a few months later.

Well this is a welp day, reading it seems the update 1.06 brought more bugs than fixes.
Once again a classic sign of the problems of being 'forced' to update to play, i f we could still play on 1.05 then you'd be able to do those challenges that are affected by the dirt tyres but NOO we must always play on the latest version.
Guess no workout for me today, I can do it in Sport Mode of course but it's been a stressfull day and this has just added to it.
I hope PD issue an 'emergency' update or revert us back to the previous version so they can sort the new bug, I really hate playing a game where I know of errors...

Mission challenge 121.1 Maximum Velocity in Porsche is bugged. Impossible to reach 121.1. My max is 120.5. Most on my friend's list have 121.8.
RX7 slipstream mission challenge bugged too.
Can confirm the old rally jeep challenge is bugged with wrong tyres too Making it impossible.
Also the pop up of weeds on the side of the track at Willow Springs is terrible and should be fixed. It's like a funny cartoon or something. (PS4 Pro).

Le Mans Track experience - Did someone do this before the update?
In the last sector the demo is driving full speed through the corners - impossible now as the rear will step out quick and very violent. Barely reached silver. Not a tyre but as Race Mediums are still equipped

I'm having similar issues with doing anything that tries to change the appearance of any car in GT Auto. The game freezes on Applying 0% and I need to restart. All of the cars in my garage have had their liveries reset, and/or the thumbnail doesn't match. When I browse the Showcase the thumbnail images don't load, and just now it completely kicked me out of GT7 while browsing. This was happening before the patch and I haven't seen or heard any official acknowledgement that this is an issue they are looking into.

My internet went in and out while I was playing. I had to close the game and restart it. When I did, the game acted like I was a new player. It reset my collector level, I only had access to Used Cars, and it restarted me with 120,000 credits. Luckily, it kept all of my other progression (menus, vehicles, miles driven, etc). I purchased a car to see what would happen and through that I got access to the Garage. And now after the update I have access to the Cafe. But that is it. The game is not playable because I don’t have access to the other areas anymore. I’ve tried everything multiple times. Clearing both the console and cloud data, uninstalling and reinstalling, wiping cache data, PlayStation Support was no help. Nothing has worked and the game is a $70 paper weight at this point.

So I have redownloaded the game and the same issue still happens. I assume this is because my actual save data being corrupted somehow? But from what ive read online you cant actually delete your online save and I have already tried deleting and redownloading my local save thing. I know I could make another account and start a new game that way however I have both the pre order and 25th anniversery DLC linked to this account.I completed the final IB license test and got a CE-34878-0 error. And now whenever I try to enter the license tests section the game crashes with the same error- PS4 pro version
edit - from what I have tried, it seems like every other area of the game is working. I can enter the garage or start a race etc. Don't want to play more though incase this account is permamently ruined xD
I have not found anyone else online with this same "specific" issue, maybe I am just blind, but I am aware that this is a standard Playstation error code and popped up during the issues with people livestreaming on PS4 before the patch.
It is only for the license test area, I have managed to complete several races and the game is perfectly happy with that.
This happened a couple hours after the servers went back up this morning, I went through the IB licenses for the first time golding each in order until when I finished the final test and got this error between where you would be awarded the prize money and then the prize cars.
I have been clueless since, not really sure if there is someone I could contact at Sony/Polyphony to perhaps "reset" my account. I have attached a video showing what happens whenever I try to open the license area,

Had two setup sheets on a car, bought a power restrictor, it can only be adjusted on the setup which was applied when I bought it...

Only one car which cost me a lot Legendary car settings will not save and the PP won’t change no matter what parts I buy and the setting list is empty and can not del still after 1.06 update. Pls help

Cafe Progression bug is not resolved after update to 1.06. I am unable to progress to challenge 2 still. Running GT7 on PS4.
The A-8 license challenge is outfitting the truck with race tires, not dirt tires. Its impossible to achieve gold.

Running GT7 Anniversary version. My problem is in the Tuning Shop. Once I select and install an item, it is marked "Purchased" and I can't purchase it again for another car. Is this normal? Is there a process to enable a previously purchased item to once again be purchased or transferred to a different vehicle? Advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone else having issues with exhaust flames not working or working intermittently? I read it they only work with a full race exhaust and anti lag system, but I have a car with these and it only seems to be visible at night or just rarely. And I have a car without an anti lag system with a titanium exhaust and it sometimes has flames.

They are already aware of this issue as you can see in game in the Known Issues list.

is it a bug that you can't paint individual parts with the carbon paint? you can either paint the WHOLE car in carbon or you can't use it at all...seems like this is a bug?
It's the same for me! I can now see the cafe on my map after the 1.06 update but I have three menu-books in the Cafe Archives but had'nt completed the B-License (book nr.2). Now im stuck, because i don't see the license center on my map and can't access the second menu-book thrue the cafe cause its states that i finished it already.
Im so frustrated right now, cause i got hyped after i could see the cafe after the update (beforehand there were only my garage and the used cars dealer).
Also the communication to Polyphony and Sony is a joke because you can't report a bug trough a proper ticket anywhere. How am i supposed to know, which threads and forums they are monitoring...
I would like, that Sony just delete my profil on their server cause i wasn't able to do much anyway. I would be glad if i could start just a new game ON MY PROFILE...
I really want to like this game, but they make it very hard for me.

Smoke, dust & rain spray has decreased by like 90% when driving... I hope this is a bug and not intended, as it totally kills the immersion. In replay you still see the full amount of smoke,dust & rain...
Hopefully this is a bug that will be fixed

Ok guys, I can literally find nowhere to report a bug properly. So here is my issue. Yesterday, prior to update 1.06, I was racing the Viper SRT GT3R 2015 and had to reduce the power down to 542hp and 729.35PP (730pp or less) with the restrictor to compete in a race. Today, post update 1.06, my Viper SRT GT3R 2015 says the power is at 100% but still at 542hp. The NEW Viper in Brand Central
has 678hp and 756.21PP when it is at 100%. (Both equipped with RH tires.)

Exactly! I gave up hope and tried to at least reset everything so I could play a fresh game, even though I was on menu book 18. But we can’t even do that because all of our stuff is on GT7 servers. I’d be so grateful if our biggest complaint was that “the smoke and rain were reduced too much” or “the wrong tires on a car during a license test”. There are people who cannot play the game at all!! Please fix us first😩😂
