Don’t worry, you’re not the only one! There is a handful of us here with this exact issue. I’ve attempted just about every thing I could think of including deleting cloud and console data at the same time to try and get a complete wipe. Nothing helps because our save is stored on GT7 servers. Was disconnected from my WiFi and my game crashed. Opened it back up and made me redo the music rally and my collection level and credits were gone. But my profile will show my actual level but the game is at the beginning. Still have all of my cars and the menus I have done but it won't let me select a new menu. Can only go to the used car lot, garage, or cafe. Game is essentially broken for me now
This bug came with the v1.06 update (which we just got). It also affects one of the Driving Missions that takes place at wet Spa in the F1500T-A.Ran into this today. How long has it existed? Did it just arrive after recent update?
Thanks :It is working still after 1.06 updated Deleting game save files fixed this when I had the same issue with the focus rs
I really don't know if this is a bug, but when doing the penultimate mission in the beyond the horizon missions, that the Audi Quattro, driving on Dirt, is on Racing Hard tyres. I thought this was just a feature, but when watching Failrace's latest video, doing the same mission, he is on Dirt tyres, which actually make sense.
edit: Looking back through the thread, this seems like a bug with a lot of the dirt events since the 1.06 update. Somehow I was able to get a silver when driving on dirt with slicks. That is a small miracle in itself.
I was suspecting something like that... For achiving National Licence B or maybe A, there's one racing test that is made on dirt, and that is the only one that I could not ( didn't even got close) to a Gold medal time ...It’s a big that was introduced after the last update. Any licence/mission where you need dirt/wet tires has been messed up and gives you dry tires instead.
Yeah... Yeah... I'm not alone...Menu BGM stuck on Chariots of Fire. Driving me nuts. PS4
License IA-3 puts you on racing hards for offroad consecutive corners.License A-8 tire bug.. its supposed to have dirt tires for dirt roads. I have CM/Comfort Medium. It's nothing comfort about not getting gold. Lol
**** me.This bug came with the v1.06 update (which we just got). It also affects one of the Driving Missions that takes place at wet Spa in the F1500T-A.
I completed that menu book too, I'm now on Tokyo Expressway Parade in which I was to broadcast Gameplay on.
same here received cars but no creditsI received my 3 Pre-order bonus cars, but not my in-game currency........
Thanks. That'll be why I was finding it difficult. Seems a lot of missions have the wrong tyres. No, it should have comfort tires.
Same here. Commented yesterday about it at Willow Springs the way the black weeds pop in, really comical. Now on other tracks I'm noticing other horrible stuff. I'm on PS4 Pro what are you using? Not really sure if it's a 'bug' at this point, but the pop-in of textures while driving is really bugging me....
I have Gold all the way up to IA-3 and I cannot get past Bronze on this. Tyres spinning won't grip. I see there was an update 1.06 , but that wasn't included in it.Progress in the game completely halted because of the tire bug. Racing Hard tires on IA-3 instead if Dirt tires.
I was watching one of David Perel's streams, after doing the final licence test he watched his replay from cockpit view and the driver was using 1 hand most of the way. Was funny hearing David comment on it.Has anyone noticed that in cockpit view with cars that have a manual shift the drivers hand stays on the shifter after about 3rd gear, looks like he’s only got one arm.
This is a known issue since the 1.06 update. It's in the updated 'known issues' listI have same issue on dirt license.
When I ride S-5, my GRyaris has Sports Hard Tire.
maybe it is not only visual error.
my lap time is 1:36, (Bronze need 1:34!)
and same circuit with Dirt tire is 1:29.
My Gran Turismo 7 is 1.06 on PlayStation 4
Sounds like they messed with drag somehow. I tried the slipstream mission with the Porsche 356 where you are supposed to reach 195km/h, and it's not possible anymore. Did everything by the book and could only reach 193km/h, no matter what I tried.I am having similar issues. The same car I hit 200mph a few days ago and got corresponding trophy now will only hit 171mph and constantly shifts back and forth from 5th gear and 6th gear. Once shifted into 6th, will lose speed rapidly until shift to 5th happens. Like the game has put a speed limitation on us. It should be noted that no settings to transmission or other settings were changed. The Daytona track seems to be where it is most noticable.
Yeah, something is definately wrong. My car is completely tuned Mustang GT. Same car and track that a few days ago I was close to lapping last place. Now have to run a flawless race to keep from getting smoked by a stock Camaro. Have tried tweaking transmission settings a bit to limit the high end of 6th gear. That only limits top speed even more. Constantly having to downshift into 5th gear to maintain any speed at all. To make transmission seem to run a bit more "normally," I have to put gears much closer together which REALLY limits top speed and lucky to finish in top 10. And that is against comparable STOCK cars! Was not performing this way until update. Same issue is affecting BMW M3, Aston Martin, and Ford Raptor so I assume it is across the board. ALSO, anyone else having issues with rain tires? I can now no longer tell any difference between them and my racing softs!Sounds like they messed with drag somehow. I tried the slipstream mission with the Porsche 356 where you are supposed to reach 195km/h, and it's not possible anymore. Did everything by the book and could only reach 193km/h, no matter what I tried.
I actually see the same issue. Can easily see that for some reason cars are very dull/grey in garage. In a race it actually looks better.I don't have a tv as good as this, it's a Samsung 9K series it doesn't have tone mapping or HGIG. It's not OLED. I have it set best I can with both suns just out of view then the last one set to it's very darkest.
All my other games including GT Sport looked great.
When I boot up GT7 it look very washed out, when I go in Display settings I leave the Saturation at 100 and the Exposure slider does nothing.Changing it any direction has no effect on picture.
Like I said, GT Sport had far better settings in game for HDR that when altered made a massive difference.
