I've worked out why changing the top speed setting below a certain point results in a massive PP drop off. Because the car can no longer go 150mph, it calculates the rotational g at 150mph as 0. So the game perceives that as "It literally can't turn at 150 so here's 25pp" rather than not counting it in calculations or making calculations based on if it were to go 150mph.
I hope that fixing that doesn't require them to completely disassemble the PP system or that could get really ugly.
Just means lobby races are gonna be the wild west and anyone not privy to how the glitch works are gonna get smoked.
