Gran Turismo 7 Bug Reports

Couldn't exit from Replay screen (race summary) after watching an old shared replay from Discover.

Hitting the red Exit button plays the confirmation sound effect, and the screen flickers but nothing else happens.

Had to force quit the game to get out.

Switch the cam to spectator/tv view, Then you can exit the replay.
 
Fisherman's Ranch CE displays the same sector path (sector 3) for sectors 2 and 3.

Since update 1.33, I decided to drive my 4 rotor RX7. I found out that no matter what I do to the car, it just spins out, or won't turn once I reach 230-300mph.

That's a wide range of speeds, but it's probably because either your front suspension is too low or too soft on compression and/or front downforce is too high, causing the wheels to foul on the body and prevent them from turning.

But that's not a bug.
 
The Giulia GT's hazards don't work 😅

The indicators work independently, but do not when the hazards are on.
Hazard blinkers override the turn indicators, if hazards are on you will not be able to see the turn indicators working...
 
Haven't seen it anywhere when searching, but the tach on the D-Type '54 doesn't seem to work right. Instead of a steady movement like other gauges, the needle jumps around skipping the whole range in-between the jumps. For example, it may jump from 4000 instantly to 5000 when accelerating, same when decelerating. Makes it weird to drive in VR, only tested it out in a practice session on Brands Hatch a few times after purchasing it this week.

Apologies if I worded it poorly, the hazards do not work. Like at all. The individual sides can flash and work if using the indicators but not when the hazards come on (like at the end of a race for example). They simply do not light up when they are meant to.

Simply:

Indicators work, hazards don't.

Spent three hours doing two liveries for the R32 NISMO. My ADVAN livery saved( Livery & Style), no problem. Completed the Napolex livery and it vanished after I saved it. I switched to Project Cars 2 and switched back to GT7 and it’s well and truly gone.
No sense in me getting angry after all that work, but I’m like:

I’m not sure if it’s connected to the server outage I and a few others had last night, but just shut down the system and will play later. whew…
 
I don’t known if these are bugs as much as limitations. Driving the McLaren F1 road car I changed in car view to “offset” and found two issues:

-There’s no animation for use of the clutch pedal. My guess this goes for all cars but this is the first time I noticed.

-I’m using a controller and have the touch pad set to use for looking left and right. When using in car offset view if I try to look left/right I will just get a zoomed in view looking forward.

1.34, Fanatec Podium F1 DD1 PS4 racing wheel, steering wheel start weird Vibrations while Turn to Left or right around 100 degree even car stay still. Anyone have same experience ?

I have this car in real life, and I can confirm that it doesn't have hazard lights installed. Congratulations to GT7 for simulating this in the game.
 
Note: If you see this twice, I'm posting the update here also since I reached out here first, plus there's more traffic here.

So an update... (I wanted to give a little time and a few updates to be confident that I have a positive outcome)

Little over a month ago I replaced the USB extension cord (2.0) I had been using since the release of GT Sport with a USB 3.0 extension and I haven't had one single disconnect since the change.

Looks like when the TRUE Force started working properly after the PS5 firmware update a few months ago, the old 2.0 extension no longer had significant power/transmitting data capabilities. If that's the case so be it.

I'm not 100% on what I should or shouldn't be feeling, but my guess is the feedback is proper and I'm just happy the random disconnects stopped.... hopefully for good.

So in the end if you're using an extension and can't really connect directly to the PlayStation for whatever reason, try upgrading to a 3.0 and go from there.
 
Where is the quickest to report any bugs or issues. For example, Lancer Evo showing as allready driven 19000 miles.
I have a bug as shown with my attachment, I have recorded a gold time on sector 2 but not updated.

Am I crazy, or pit stop sounds are nearly completely gone? Like, I've tested various tracks/events, and I don't hear wheel gun and tires being changed.

As previously pointed out, a lot of times changed with update 1.31, because of a physics change.

If you set the time before that update and it wasn't good enough for gold, you won't be awarded it simply because the targets changed. You need to go back and beat the gold time as it is now.

Yeah, the wheel gun sound is often very quiet and out of sync. Has been for a while now.
 
Nations Cup just glitched where the warmup never goes into qualifying.

Phooey.
Edit: Nevermind the qualy started like 15 minutes later.

Got a black screen after oil change, had to close the game and start it again, oil was changed though, new bug to me and I have done a lot of oil changes. (PS4)

Got the reward from the lap time challenge. As the credits were being totaled up I accidentally backed out. The credit sound effect kept playing after that. Had to restart the game to get it to stop. Sadly the credits did not continue to roll in.
 
Okay, this isn’t really a bug per se but am hoping that someone here can help/have a suggestion………My GT7 has what I would call a “graphic anomaly” 😳 Sometimes when I am looking at one of my cars in GT Auto as the camera is panning around the garage and showing the different angled views I will see a “sparkle effect” in the area where they have that one car (usually a Porsche) up on the hydraulic lift. I have also witnessed this sparkle at certain times during a race and even during the replay. Has anyone here experienced this? And if so were you able to find a solution for making it stop? 🤔 I am currently running GT7 on a PS5 and hooked up to a 32” Vizio tv that is not 4K/HDR compatible. It’s strictly 2K 🙄 Thanks in advance for any help (if there is any to be had) with this issue 😁👍
