Gran Turismo 7 Bug Reports

I have a 'short' one... (PS5)

Things I tried to 'fix' it:
  • reinstall
  • rebuild database
  • moving every other game to non-internal SSD (though I think one should be able to install more than one game on their PS5)

Only thing that kind of works for me is what I mentioned above.

So you fixed it, right? Are you saying any of those 3 fixes it, or all 3 together fix it or just the last one? Do you have any screen shots of your storage from the system settings?

It's not really 'fixed', none of those things I mentioned fixed it. It's a list with the things I tried that didn't help.

What I mentioned in the post I made before the post you've quoted only made it acceptable and that's to go back to the GT7 home screen before quitting the game and after that turning of my PS5.

Sorry for the confusion, I edited my post.

It still hangs sometimes, but only for a minute or so.

New glitch post update: my M159 engine swapped 190E Evo will no longer shift into 4th or 5th gear if using the Racing Custom Gearbox. 4th and 5th gears are usable with the stock box (but the gearing is naturally way too short for the engine swap power).

In the new Lancer series, dashboard clocks start the race at midnight, and then advance quickly to past 1am, yet it’s broad daylight in all three races.

Edit: Looks like it’s a glitch on just the Evo VIII and IX. The clocks are on the 12 hour configuration, but show 0:00 for both midnight and noon.

Has anyone else is having issues with the special livery of the Honda Civic Type R (FL5) '22 given in the Honda Racing 2023 GT Fastest Attack from last year?

Ever since this 1.49.7a64103aA update the livery suddenly got so screwed up that the blue on the HRC logo on the sides changed to black and went up to almost all the HR part of the logo on both sides, just for checking parts in Car Customization in GT Auto, worst thing is that it can't be reverted in any way!

Also, I can no longer get my Chevrolette Corvette C4 engine swapp at 800.00pp anyomre and my engine swap Mini Cooper can no longer get any Performance points anymore not even those infamous modded cars from Gran Turismo 5 and 6 got that bad!View attachment 1378623
While the issues with the Corvette and Mini Cooper got somewhat fixed along with the bugged suspension issue (that pretty much turned the game into either the Real Low-Rider Simulator or Gran Turismo Space Program: Because one way or another, we're going back to the moon!), it seems that they had yet to fic the bug with the 2023's HRC's livery of the Honda Civic Type R.

Not really a bug but engine swapped the van and when you launch it... The rear wheels kinda bug out or "grab so hard into the wheel wells that you cant accelerate"

Are the following used cars still available: Porsche 911 Carrera RS (964) '92 and Toyota Supra RZ '97?
The last time they were available for purchase was in July, over 90 days ago, while previously they would appear at the used car dealership every 30-40 days.

In some rolling start races, the first sector should not be counted toward the optimal lap time (the sum of the best times from each sector).
For example, this is the case in the SPA World Touring Car 800 race (PO 800 / 60 min.). The race starts from the last position, but after the first corner, meaning the first sector of the first lap is completed about 10 seconds faster than it could be during the race. As a result, the information about the optimal lap time is completely disconnected from the actual capabilities—it’s useless.

I don't know if it was already pointed out, but it looks like the clock of the Lamborghini Gallardo added in 1.49 is glitched. The time of day is correct, but the date is stuck on July 24, 2024, both in race (where I can understand it to be "strange" due to day change during for example an endurance race involving nighttime such as Spa 800) and in garage. First thing I checked last week after downloading the new update and it is still not working.

Moreover, while doing my weekly challenges, I noticed a spelling mistake in the oil gauge of the 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Veloce, which says "OILO" instead of "OLIO"

I changed my controller bindings to "Change view" on X, which doesn't work well at all. Sometimes in races, and all the time when watching replays, the camera changes even when navigating the buttons and pause menu.

This has been around since day one I think, does it on a G29 too.

I pause a race and scroll through the menu with left and right d-pad which I have mapped for indicators, continue the race and my indicators are on.

If I use my camera rotation buttons or rear view buttons in the pause menu, the camera starts moving in the background too.

Yesterday while watching a replay of one of the St. Croix A GTR race and taking photos, I paused it. Car has a windshield banner (decal). As soon as I went to camera mode, decal disappeared and does not appear in the photo.

I think you're right. I remember way back when, if you had been typing in the pre-race lobby you'd start the race with weird MFD settings (TC, Fuel and BB changed).

Not sure if someone else already reported, but since last update the game is having hige frames drop when driving with cockpit view on tunnels.with 3 or more cars on screen (so far it happened to me on Tokyo Expressway and Geand Valley tunnels)

Given that the engine used in question is literally from a drift car, that's actually to be expected and the reason why we can't get up to the 650PP let alone the 700PP, the very same thing happens to every car that has been swaped that engine in.

You pretty much have to reduce both ECU and Power Output down to 70 with the normal turbo to have a decent acceleration, top speed, handling, tyre wear and fuel efficiency. If you plan to farm with it at Le Mans or Spa Francochamps.

[Not a reply, just a quick way to post] I've had and played GT7 for a few years now and now when I try to play a track (like Daytona speedway) I just get a black screen aside from speedometer and map,the rest like my car, track, opponents, and sounds are gone (including music). I've tried deleting and reinstalling, cleaning the disk (no scratches visible),cleaning the Playstation, resetting the console, and cleaning ports. After reinstalling the game, the downloading version of the music rally mode worked fine, after the game finished downloading it went back to going black screen with the previous problems mentioned. If anyone has any idea how to fix this,it'd be much appreciated. Thanks for reading! Extra:Console is PS4 Pro

Potentially a new one.

In the chase camera setting : the setting "chase view rotation axis offset" appears to do nothing. I wanted to tweak the camera a bit and while the "chase view camera sensitivity" has a great impact, the other one I can't seem to get it to change.

This might explain why it feels weird even comparing to GT Sport on the same settings.

Bonus one : These settings are not applied when looking bad with the dedicated button, however they are correctly applied when looking back with the right stick

In Race Photo Mode, the reflections on a car that is being tracked by the viewfinder will not be blurred, even if traveling at speed.

In the photo shown below, the camera is focused on (and therefore tracking) the blue car. Both the red and blue car are doing roughly equal speeds when this photo was taken. Notice how the reflections on the blue car are not blurred, but the red car's reflection is blurred as expected.

What reflections? I don't see any
