Gran Turismo 7 Bug Reports

Last night I noticed demonstration and loaded replay ghosts would not follow the offset rules after a few restarts. I have it set to 0.3 seconds to be able to follow ghosts and after I retry a number of times the ghost is starting at 0.0 seconds. Quitting to the session lobby didn’t seem to help but backing out to the world map did but only for a few more tries again.

I didn’t track how many tries to get a consistent number but if it keeps happening I’ll do that.

Everyone knows how much Gran Turismo cares about details. When I drove a Peugeot 208 Gti today, I noticed that the mileage in the game and the mileage written inside the car are not the same.

Custom race settings are bugged IMO. Check here for details and join the discussion if you care:

That does occur only when you are doing the first lap, after this it should return to normal

This happened yesterday: during the outage (in my PS4) I launched GT7 offline, then, after I finally was able to log in, all my liveries thumbs in the Design List were gone (only the thumbnails preview image). I'm 100% sure, just tested it again.

After installing 1.55 I noticed the game volume was significanly lower. (Fixed by adjusting ingame volume levels)

Grip between session is carried from previous driving session to next.
Mostly notisable in Master License B-2.

Put car in 2nd gear and hold 50% throttle .
If you complete the test and try again the grip level will be different.

A "try again" with 2nd gear at 50% throttle will result in tyres spinning

Vs

Fresh try / retry after try again will not spin the wheels.

(easily notisable when ghost is on , 0.0 seconds difference and you use 3rd person camera)

I meant is your mileage in one and the garage display in another?
Propably, but miles vs km wouldnt be a disparity between 110.x km to 19.x miles.
I guess this is caused by restarting and this making the ingame counter reset (and thus not reduce oil quality and such) while the car counter is not reset.

The ghost offset keeps reverting to 0.0 even though I have it set at 0.4. This happens both in Time Trial and Circuit Experience and is VERY distracting.

Edit: There are also screen stutters when going through certain sectors in Time Trial (PS4). Video related.

I drove my engine swapped Volvo 240 on the Nürburgring paddocks, downshifted and heard a loud thump noise. No clue what happened here, but I wasn't able to replicate it.

2
There was another sound issue (haven't tested with today's update), most often occured in daily races that start in a tunnel where people keep honking and revving engines, that the sound would stay muffled for a while

In the garage, the Volvo 240 has its headlights turned on (knob turned towards the right) but the lights aren't visibly lit from the outside

There is no power interruption between gear changes. In GT7 it changes gears more like a dual clutch transmission, yet it is automated single clutch manual gearbox. ( Try to compare to 458 Italia or Enzo. For ex. 458 Italia has a dual clutch transmission and it has still more perceptible torque/power interruptions between gears)

Also regarding F430, you cannot change gear to higher one off the throttle (I am not sure if this particular thing is a bug, I couldn't find any exact answer anywhere, if this is how it works in reality).

I know It is just a detail, but I really like this car and since GT7 has an amazing attention to detail, I am sure they could fix that easily, plus I am not the only one complaining about this particular issue. ( check comments below motogames.tv video)

Well, good news! 😲
I am pleased to report that the gearbox bug, present since the launch of GT7, in the F430 and F430 Scuderia has been fixed.
Now, these cars are a joy to drive...
Check for yourself!

Honda NSX Gr. 3 isn't handling right. I have been doing races with some people nearly every week and after the last update in gt7 the NSX isn't handling right and is oversteering when it shouldn't and acts like it has a flat tyre when its on low tyre life (not empty but low). I know this car quite well and it doesn't feel right with how it acts on low tyres and how its oversteering.

Was hoping for a fixed pit crew animation with update 1.57. But they still stand there with slicks when you change to intermediates.

I don't really know an official bug report channel, so trying it here.

Yeah there isn’t one - but I highlighted this probably somewhere on page 1 or 2. It’s really annoying especially as I have a really bad memory - there’s always the panic that I didn’t actually sweet the right tyres - not that it would make any difference as you can’t change your selection (which would be a welcome bonus!)

All things relative, the pit team animation is just a cosmetic item, it does not affect the function or playability of GT7 so it is a low priority item, and that it is a pre-recorded cut scene it probably will not get fixed.

It can't be pre-recorded as it uses styles/liveries

I had a jaguar xj220 engine swaped. Hadnt used it for a while ,went to do le mans with that. Fuel usage seemed really small ,went back to settings and boom, no engine swap anymore. How is it possible??

Today I have noticed that when doing daily races, my Logitech Pro wheel is losing Trueforce feedback. When I go to daily races, I was in Monza, during qualifying laps, everything is fine and feels like it always has, but once it goes to race, the wheel loses the trueforce feeback. I still have 'some' force feedback, but it is not right.
Anyone else???

All three cars released in the update have bugs related to the Editing Area in livery editor.

For the Kangoo and the CX-30, in order to place license plate decals you need to select the Body 2 area.

For the Vantage, in order to place decals on the hood you need to select the Body area.

Pics related.

How many xj220 do you have?
Do...

Do you have more accounts here than XJ220s in GT7?

As a reminder:

Only one account per person is allowed on GTPlanet.

Apropos of the issue, providing some screenshots of your garage may be useful.

Had the same last night. I thought it was just the norm with these new cars.
