I really like some of the details outside the track, like this airplane taking off

Looks great with no HUD. Hope they have minimalist options like ACC does -- I just want radar and that's pretty much it.

Also itching to know what the camera view options are. That camera really does look great but not for wheel users. Hoping there's a dash cam/FoV options.
Sport had multiple zoom levels for cockpit view so you should have at least that. Bumper view is my preference as I don't like the distractions of the cockpit.

The car liveries are interesting and hopefully mean we get more real life liveries. Is the Audi R8 in the trailer the same as the one in GTS? To my untrained eye it looks newer. Also, disappointing to see the old C7.R and Vantage GT3.
If it was actually a Pratt & Miller C7.R it wouldn't be disappointing, but its not. It's just the PD created C7 Gr. 3 car.

I'd rather see a nice smooth 60fps replay without RT. I honestly think RT is a little before it's time, it may be brilliant on the latest and greatest PC, but maybe a little too much for these current next gen consoles
probably there will be option to have 60fps without rt

Indeed, but it was seat height/position. A lot of wheel users would like a camera view set further forward but still inside the cockpit.

Look at 0:45 in this video -- that's what we need, a dashboard camera.

Just today I asked about AI improvements in another thread.

Unfortunately this video has me worried- the AI still does not race.

This is a huge bummer.

Yes, I know, it’s about the online races, but this GT has a big SP campaign and the AI is (imo) absolutely not where it should be.

EDIT: I also think the FOV is a bit narrow. Will probably not matter once I play this in PSVR2.

Perhaps this was recorded in the Arcade Mode with the AI set to Medium at least.

Was ironically saying weeks ago that it would be awesome if they showed Daytona gameplay so that worked out nicely. No Nascar chicane like people were dreading to replace the classic road course. After watching it a few times, it was interesting to see (and then pick out) the different liveries for the returning cars from GT Sport:

BMW M6 GT3 - 2020 M Sport Livery (As presented here as well as seen on the Schnitzer cars and then on the Walkenhorst cars)
Lexus RC F GT3 - AIM Vasser-Sullivan (Very pleasant surprise)
Aston Martin V12 Vantage - 2012 Aston Martin Racing N24 (Same Bilstein one we've seen before)
Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept - 2021 Toyota Gazoo Racing Livery (Something I ironically made last year)
Mercedes-AMG GT3 - 2018 Black Falcon (Specifically the #4 car of Maro Engel, Luca Stolz and Yelmer Buurman from the BES)
Lamborghini Huracan GT3 - Emil Frey Racing (Same one we've seen frequently)
Jaguar F Type GR.3 - Unsure (Want to say it might be a subtle nod to the former Emil Frey Jaguars, but not clear enough to be sure)
Subaru WRX GR.3 - 2020 R&D Sport (Same one we've seen previously)
Alfa Romeo 4C GR.3 - Unsure (Could be running a throwback livery of the 155 V6 TI that is also in-game)
Dodge Viper GT3-R - Unsure (Its either the 2014 GTS-R IMSA livery from the second half of the season or its the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge livery that Kumo Wittmer won with at Toronto)
Honda NSX GR.3 - 2018 Castrol Honda Racing (The Spa 24 livery, which does make for a kinda/sorta throwback to the Castrol NSX)

And of course, the Porsche 911 RSR is basically the livery of the 92 WEC car from the 2019 24 Hours Of Le Mans (Hence the FIA sticker, which is literally on every car that runs in the WEC including the LMP1 Hybrids in GT Sport)

I've tried telling anyone who will listen to that motion blur enhances the quality of video game graphics. Without motion blur video games look unnatural and cartoonish.
Tell it to me with a monitor which doesn't have great pixel gray-to-gray response time, which automatically makes any movement blurry.

I don't need the extra blur.

Anyway, about the video:

Sounds are massively improved, the GT's tire screech was easily audible, cars don't have a "burst" of engine noise when they pass by the camera, they improved the doppler effect greatly. That burst was a big immersion breaker in GTS. Only downside is the cars somehow don't sound close enough as they go past, they sorta drown eachother out, could be a point-of-view thing with the camera simply being too far...

Graphics, as usual, perfect.

Camera positioning is utter crap. Is it really that hard to place the stock cockpit cam in a way that it doesn't get blocked by the sterring wheel? It's the same story as GT Sport. Having to adjust it every time, move all the way back, move up... We desperately need an FoV adjustment option as well. Thankfully, there's more movement in the camera now, so the car's behaviour is better translated.

I want to see FFB improvement. The steering is too vague and spongy no matter what settings I use in GTS. Just having more options for those who know what they do would be great... Think FFB presets like PC2 had for example.
