Not too bad, few more for a Bonanza engine, 1 for a post Bonanza engine and 1 new engine. But yeah, shame it's all Nissan centric.
1 new engine?

EDIT: Sorry, I just assumed (wrongly, and due to poor memory) that the RB26 already existed as a swap!

It would be cool if they setup the UCD/LCD to sell the cars with new engine swaps on Update Day, either in a usual spot or as a “Hot Buy” with the new cars, especially since they’re now releasing which new ones have been added in a bulletin

Did some speedy runs in the new swaps, nothing groundbreaking but interesting nonetheless:

Nissan Z '23 - 460km/h or 286mph:

Nissan GT-R R32 '90 - 447km/h or 278mph:

Nissan Z33 '07 - 454km/h or 282mph:

The Alpine hits 455/283 and the R32 '94 just about makes 440/273.

Bit more variety would be nice next time :indiff:

They won't do this as it means people will be logging on for longer to get them when they become available... Same with the menus, you need to keep checking for when they come back around. Thing is most people will just check online rather than logging into the game every day.

Also, it looks like they have given up on new engine tickets as well, both new menus only give basic 4* tickets.

Glad to see they are telling swap additions in the notes now.
Guess these 💩 throwing new kids won't have to deal with me anymore, they're giving us less reasons to come here for information-

First post updated (in many ways!)
You got one job left; the Escudo engine on GTO is still in bold.

By the way, now I expect that the VR38DETT will possibly go to the Mégane Trophy (I mean the one-make racer, not the road-going R.S. Trophy).

From the changelog
Yes, nice of them to post the cars at least so we didn't have to hunt them down now.

@DiabloSV
Yes, you still need to keep some of the engines from tickets. Example would be the Escudo Pikes Peak engine is not available for sale in the parts for the car. You would need to have the engine in your tuning parts to replace it if you wear yours out. I do not know what other cars this applies to yet.
Plus, a penny saved is a penny earned so if have a free one use it.

Loving the new alpine engine swap.
Amazing handling
That's the one I'm looking forward to the most! And unlike in real life I'll throw a manual trans in it to have more fun. Shame Alpine never made a manual version, I would have considered buying it as one of the last truly super light cars in production.

HAve you

Have you compared the original engine for the 2023 Nissan Z with the swapped one fully modified?

If so, do you believe the swap is even worth it?
I only compared them in terms of max speed... the swap gains 28km/h with the extra 200bhp, a bit less than I expected. If you have the credits or a spare engine lying around though, why not?

@Famine
The one and only thing I would like to see is the HP numbers by the engine. I will try to get a list of those worked up for you in the next week as a way to help. So you only need cut and paste them where they go. Being a site Mod plus real life is a handful.
I have found your list very, very helpful. Thank you.

As you'll be aware by now, GT7 has engine swaps! Yay! 🎉

The feature works by either gifting you an engine through a roulette ticket (rare in general tickets, some engine-specific tickets are available) or as expensive buyable items through the engine swap facility in GT Auto. Only some cars can receive swaps (80 to date) and only specific engines fit in each case - so far each eligible car can receive only one type of engine.

In the game's early stages the mechanism was entirely luck-based, resulting in no clear information on what engines were available and what cars they fit in. I created this thread so that the cloud-computing-mind of GTPlanet could do what it does best: assemble a complete list.

Since update 1.34, all engines have now been buyable for their respective vehicles, but players still need to know what engine fits what car (for gifted engines) or what car can receive what engine (for buying engines) in order to efficiently use the feature.

Either way, here's a complete list of all known swaps (with the Porsche M96/76 only seen in trailers and not the game thus far; this is unlikely to ever arrive, at least for the VW 1200).

Please add any others you find in the comments below - note the original brand, the name of the engine, and any eligible cars - with some picture evidence, please!

Because it doesn't work as of v1.18

Yeah. The inclusion of post-2001 cars in UCD is ridiculous and stupid. Their inclusion in that dealership is the definition of clutter. It makes no sense to buy any of them in the UCD.
On the other hand I appreciate them on the UCD because I prefer buying my cars with 0 miles on them, so I can know how many miles I put on them myself.
