That Giulia swap is kinda weird, but at least it will be fast. R34 on R31 let's go 900 hp

Some odd swaps in there (LS7 in the E36, K24A in the S2000) but overall liking this! The E36 I will definitely be doing for another SSRX speed demon, and to use up all my LS7's I still have hanging around since the engine ticket glitch back in the good old days!

The K24A is from what car, sorry? It's got nearly 400bhp and doesn't list the displacement?

yeah, any of the ls7 brz swaps will become speed demons. It's good the engine is used for many cars now. It was only for the fridge S13 for a long time lol

The Mazda Atenza with the Giulia V6 will become even more of a sleeper than it already is. That crazy V6 fits the character of the car more than the 787b engine, IMO. It's an AWD platform that can handle monster diesel torque, and it has great handling. I have high hopes.

The Gr.4 Veyron swap being utterly terrible makes me weary of Gr.4 swaps in general, especially anything with the drift car engine. My expectations for the M4 Gr.4 swap are low.

I want to giggle at the M3 Sport Evolution's swap; because isn't the new Supra engine actually a BMW engine?

Sure is! The B58 comes in tons of different BMWs - most notably the 240i/M240i/340i/M340i group.
I'm really excited to see it as an option because it's an awesome engine...although I might be a little biased...

Is the street Atenza swap the first case of a swap causing an engine's fuel type to be changed? The XD notation is used for diesel engine cars. The Giulia GTAm's engine is insane already and it'll be more fun to play with than the 4 rotor swap available with the Atenza Gr.3 Road Car, but the city sedan car itself doesn't have a lot of cool aero customisation options. Maybe they should have done it for the Gr.4 model?

I’m happy for the K24A as well. That’s the engine in my car! All be it the less powerful K24A3. :D

Anyway, crazy to see the Atenza and Genesis get a spicy engine. RS500 still stands alone of the Group A era cars not to get a swap. MINI Copper looks like fun and the E30

Again, with the Gr.4 swaps, I feel it’s an easy way(cop out in my view) for PD to give players an option for stripped out road cars than to actually give players the tools to strip interiors. Veyron being an exception. It’s funny though. The Gr.4 M4 will have worse fuel economy and the E92 & F82 will both have better fuel economy.

How so? I find the swap pretty good. It saves 115 kgs, which is a very substantial difference. And the car remains with plenty of power, so you're essentially just ditching unnecessary weight. That said, since the car loses eligibility to be used in Gr.4 races, the question is whether you're not better off with a Veyron road car converted to a race car.

Not only it destroys it's BoP eligibility, it's a fuel wear killer because road car engines are coded to have less efficient fuel use.

That was ultimately my gripe with the swapped Gr.4 Veyron.

The fully tuned Veyron road car was better in every way
  • It was lighter,
  • had superior tire wear,
  • had much better manners in high speed corners,
  • had more high speed grip,
  • felt much more usable in races with fuel consumption,
  • responded better to tuning
  • the racecar designation and PP rating limited the places I could use the Gr.4 Veyron in single player

The Gr.4 Veyron's handling quirks plus the big power made the car exhausting and disappointing to me.

Mind you, I'm no stranger to quirky overpowered cars. I enjoy driving and tuning the swapped Abarth 595.
