Is this a new bug?

My Mazda Roadster S 15 has the LT-1 Corvette engine in it.

Current setup, output 70%, power 70%
HP 328
PP calculated as 626.45

Change it to output 100% and power 100%
HP 672
PP……….637

Seems very odd.
Taking off the supercharger also doesn’t do much to the PP

I wouldn't say this is a bug, more that the lap time probably doesn't change by that much between the two. Hoofing a boat load of power in to a car that isn't designed to take it won't actually result in lap times that are much quicker (except for on tracks like SSRX of course)

Maybe they changed the Pp setting cuz currently between the 680-830 mark you can get pretty much every street car…but they all perform vastly different.

It’s probably not the case but I’m hopeful that the PP settings actually start to divide cars up. There are plenty of street cars currently that have sub 700Pp yet they are very much faster than some of the GR3 cars that are 730+ and that just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me haha

by some miracle i got the new Ford engine on the menu ticket...

the Test Focus is tremendous - 789 HP after upgrades (765pp with hards) and handles like a dream. i wide-bodied it and hardly changed any of the tuning settings. 4WD Gr3, basically

and i tried the menu glitch, for old times sake - the GT wheel loading thing pops up now before the video, like a quick upload or something. being back to knowing there are available swaps, but having 0.1% chance of getting the new ones... very deflating.

At this point I kinda just want them to put up a DLC where for $20 you get every special part in the game and 1 of every engine.

Just take my money and save me the time. Shoot if they just made the credit purchases like $1 = 1M credits. Just so tired of the time suck the game requires just so you can race online which the game heavily pushes.

The delta isn’t that good imo. It’s fast as hell and handles well, but I don’t think I’ve driven another car in GT that stops as poorly as that thing. I think the 2J Yaris is a much better benchmark. This is all opinion though.
I wouldn't put another Hatch-swap pogchamp out of the realm of possibility down the line.

Like a Dino-Swapped Fiat 500, or a 911 Swapped Golf. We just need one more.

Both of the swapped hatches have only been so good because of their 4WD capabilities. So if something like the new Golf R arrives, I'd like to see that with an Audi/Lamborghini V10 swap.

Engines to look out for in future updates:
Honda f20c/f22c
Cosworth Yb
Hennessey stuff for American cars
Classic Ls1
Big displacement swap(s) (v10/v12) possibly Audi V10 and more Audi cars

Yeah I'm hoping they have been saving some Audi content (engines/cars) for future updates...we need more cars for sure.

Probably not supposed to talk about this outside of its own thread, but datamines say the 2016 R8 and 2002 RS6 Avant (sadly not the V10 one) are gonna come eventually. So not much on the Audi front (I would have loved to see something with 5 cylinders) but at least it's something.
