Just completely overshot into the realm of utterly pointless.

Just realized how bad the rest of the new swaps are.. it seems there is a 13 year old boy in charge of engine swaps in PDI. 🤣 Makes no sense what so ever.

Yes, it's from the new 992 Turbo S.

Yeah, not impressed with the Volvo swap. Still, no swap for the RS 500.

I can't wait for the RS500 to get the BRZ-LS7 next month.

Maybe just maybe someone will think, Hey we still have the V8-Ford-GT-LM-Test engine.
Maybe that would be nice for a Touring Car.

Would be great if swappable engines of the same make but from a different donor are added at the same time. Particularly in regard to the LS7 swap where the BRZ donor is favoured over the Corvette. Another case, cars with the RCR K24 option should get the FK8 K24 available too and vice versa.

Or has that been discontinued with the arrival of the FL5 Type R?

The fuel wear mind in me prefers the Alfa 2.5 V6 DTM engine.

A general question: once a car is engine-swapped, there is - with one exception - no way to revert back to the original engine, is this correct?

The exception is when the car's original engine is a swappable engine itself and you have said engine available in your garage as a tuning part. In any other case you are stuck with the swapped engine.

The swap that makes least sense to me, this update, is challenger demon with chiron engine. Challenger is already a 1000+hp monster. Why does it need a chiron engine? Maybe a gr3 engine swap instead?

When you click the first engine swap button in GT Auto, it will let you choose which engine to buy and install.

Agree with the sentiment that this batch of swaps are a bit meh... Chiron engine is unusable in any fueled race. Was hoping the Volvo swap would make a good BTCC model, but not that BRZ thing... 😮‍💨 at least we got a new engine this time and the total swaps is the highest I belive for any update.
