Hyundai Ionic 5N 2024: As mentioned previously was revealed during the GTWS finals.

Gran Turismo F3500 -A: same as above, along with a special race series in the same vain as the DTM events but with half of the field having GT3 throwback liveries.

Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR Strassenversion: Will complete the 90s Hypercar trinity, the W 196 R was completely unexpected and I suspect this one would be widely received with high praise. Also fits in with the stats posted by Famine as it's:
1. New to the series.
2. Would be the second most expensive Legends car added at atleast $12 million.
3. Classed as a roadcar and has very good racing pedigree when looking at it's dominating racing counterpart.
I imagine the performance being in between the F1 and 911-GT1 Strassenversion. To me personally it's like the JGTC class before they added the Castrol NSX, it's pretty obvious the GT1 era class is missing it's main competitor when it comes to the road cars.
4. Mercedes-Benz are clearly very proud of this car and even though they no longer have any roadcar chassis at the their Museums I imagine it can't be too hard for PD to get their hands on a privately owned one if they really wanted to add it.

The fourth car I predict will be a newer road car of some sort, possibly a BMW or Porsche. Wouldn't be surprised to the see them add the Ferrari Purosangue as Kaz did say GT would be receiving more SUVs.

It just makes sense to drive around Bathurst with some E30s, Sierras and Skylines. So more specific special events can be added.

Or did you mean the reasoning I consider it a surprise pick?
Well... anything really: predictions are guesses with evidence, so really we need a reason why this choice rather than just "this choice".

I mean, had you said something like "GT7 already has a bunch of Group A peers" that'd have been totally fine. Unlikely - PD has seemingly given Australia a massive swerve since GT6, and even such cars as it had then were just GT4 cars carried over so we've had nothing really new in 20 years  - but it'd have been fine as a prediction.

That VL SS Group A would have to be a special one as this is #750 of 750.

As mentioned in the Aussie Car thread, Kaz sure is taking his sweet time to add anything from the down and under.

So many “Group A” cars being added, the time does look right to add Group A Holden and (other)Ford cars.

An incredible story, this car deserves Gt7

...

If "1.55" brings the Hyundai IONIQ 5N and Gran Turismo F3500-A, and we assume a four-car update, that leaves us with two European road cars: one Legends, one UCD-only; one other all-new car, and one returnee.

So... let's say...

BMW M1 1979 (Road, Europe, Legends, All-New)
Gran Turismo F3500-A (Race, Asia, Brand Central, All-New)
Hyundai IONIQ 5N (Road, Asia, Brand Central, All-New)
Peugeot 406 Coupe '98 or Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe '68 (Road, Europe, UCD, Returning)

Because why not.
This BMW is such a beast and reminds me of Ferrari 308 GTB '75.
It fits the data: European, road car, returning from previous GT games, would only appear in the UCD.

I might have also gone for the FIAT Coupe Turbo '00, as I think the cutoff for Brand Central is 2001. But I already had exclusively manufacturers in the first half of the alphabet and that's only happened once before, in 1.38, and only just (Honda, Garage RCR, Mazda).
I loved the FF lobbies back in GT5 and GT6 full of Acuras, Hondas, Fiat Coupe Turbos and Ford Focus RS '02.

I suspect we may be getting Pike's Peak. In a recently posted video from Ford Performance, it showed a specially prepared F-150 Lightning making a run to the clouds and it showed a "Gran Turismo" windshield banner from the inside. Of course it could mean the Lightning is coming to the game.
We are more likely to get the New GMC Hummer EV with crabwalk

That paragraph above knocks this entry off the list because if PD had not scanned it by now (within the past 18 months or so) it would not be ready for this months update...
I like the idea for this bring added but it now is just a wish...

I wouldn't be so quick to say that because it took well over a year before we got the Castrol NSX and the Toyota GT-ONE for example, PD has shown us already that they operate on their own terms and seemingly add cars at random unless for a partnership or an upcoming VGT. For all we know they could have scanned it already or maybe it just isn't coming which is also certainly possible. At the end of the day it's just a prediction that IMO has a semi-realistic chance of appearing though the AMG ONE would probably appear first before the GTR.

I wonder what would be better, the road-going version of the CLK-GTR, or the even more elusive CLK-LM road car?
The road going variant of the CLK-GTR due to the potential to create multiple specs it came in, while the CLK-LM strassenversion I imagine would be kind of limited in what could be done with it, especially since we already have the Gr.2 GT1 variant.
