We need to make a priority list for Kaz and PD, so they know what to work on first.
These are professional developers getting paid thousands of dollars. You think that they're unable to plan and prioritise and they need the internet to do it for them?
I honestly don't think PD pay THAT much attention as some would like to believe. Yes they are a Sony studio and all this jazz, but we need to remember that PD doesn't seem to operate in anyway like a modern Dev team. I seriously doubt any Forza news will be that big a deal to them, they'll just do whatever they do and that's it.
Polyphony might not, and probably don't for all the overlap there seems to be between what should be two games that are competing hard with each other.
Whoever does the PR for Gran Turismo will be paying attention though, and they'll be doing their best to both undercut any hype for Forza and make sure that Gran Turismo still stays in the public consciousness. And they've probably asked Polyphony to have some stuff up their sleeve that they can use if there are big Forza annoucements. PD doesn't operate much like a modern dev team, but their marketing does.
I know the picture of Meeting they two, there they look like as Greenaway is the biggest fan of Gran turismo and look to Kaz as an idol.
Of course he is. You don't make a game like Forza without recognising that your game wouldn't exist without Gran Turismo.
Didn't know about those interviews.
To be honest I don't like Turn 10‘s Creative Director, Dan Greenawalt answers about GT. He really sounded to cocky in my opinion.
That interview was in 2009. GT5 was in development hell. T10 was just about to put out FM3, which was an excellent game for the time. GT4 was on last gen, and GT5P was tiny. The cockiness was entirely justified, as Polyphony was in the middle of fumbling control of a genre that they had created themselves.
Polyphony would later put out GT5, which had issues. T10 then put out FM4, generally considered to be peak Forza Motorsport. It's not cocky if you're actually that good, it's just honest.
I didn't meant like for whole Super GT , i meant it only for the latest GT500 cars - yes there are 8 years apart thats why i speculated the next batch being in '24 - i will happy if they give me more modern GT500 cars sooner than later heh
What he's saying is that two data points aren't enough to determine if there's a pattern.
