Oh I´m thinking more like a livery or something.

But yeah, new track or maybe some Lewis Hamilton GTS DLC type missions would be great.

Oh God I hope you are right.
Last time I raced in hungaroring was in "Nigel Mansell world championship" in the snes.
I've been hearing and reading that Motegi is a possibility for the next dlc track.
 
So from what I can see in the trending styles, it seems like you can install extra lights on the front of the 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT3. But since I haven't actually bought that car yet, I'm wondering if they could just be decals that resemble extra lights, instead. I recall hearing that you can install some alternate parts for the Audi R8 LMS Evo as well as the Alfa Romeo 155 TI, so I was wondering if this was a similar case.

It's an option in GT Auto to remove the panels on the stock car to reveal the extra lights... 15,000 Cr. for the privilege though
 
Speaking of extra parts for race cars, the JGTC Supra should definitely have this wing option, as it was also present on the 1997 spec for some races. If I recall correctly, they call this one the low-downforce wing, while the one in the game is the high-downforce.

What compelled you to dig out a comment from almost 6 months ago?

I wish for more variety. Not more of basically the same.

There's plenty of other modern GT cars to fill out gaps and missing generations like the 488 GT3, or the 720S GT3, or the Bentley Continental GT3, or the M4 GT3, or the M8 GTE, or the C8R.

Don't get me wrong. The AMG GT3 is one of my favourites racing today but there's other manufacturers in the game in more desperate need of a Gr.3 refresh. Ferrari for instance. And Chevrolet. It's comedy hour when even The Crew 2's devs have managed to license and model the C8R now.

My grandma and her grandma will get the license to the C8R corvette before pd does.

Really shameful if you ask me.
 
The next ‘PlayStation Showcase’ supposedly has a segment for Polyphony Digital.

It’s reported that PD will be talking about their “current project” labelled “Next Gran Turismo Entry”.

Sounds vague, leaves room for speculation, and could even be fake. Let’s wait and see.

Its shameful cause pretty much any racing game out there is getting the license to the C8R even a (mobile phone game that just come out from a developer that no one as ever heard of) and yet PD being a powerhouse of a company that has Sony's backing cant negotiate a new contract with Pratt & Miller to bring any of the C-R corvettes to gt7.

Okay. Why is it "shameful" to not have this particular car (as opposed to many others; I assume it's also "shameful" there's no 1993 Ford Escort Equipe? If not, why not) and - you still haven't answered - on whose shoulders should that shame lay?

That user that I quoted mention Ferrari and Chevrolet as being in need of updated race cars and I know and like the Corvette C-R cars more then the Ferrari race cars. That's why I mention the C8R.

Okay, sure, but you're still not answering the questions at all. This is now the third attempt at a straighforward answer to a straightforward question about a straightforward opinion.

You say it's shameful - shameful! - that this particular car isn't in the game. Why is it "shameful" for this specific car to be absent and who should be ashamed of this situation.

It's your adjective, chosen after I'm sure very careful thought, so it shouldn't be so tricky to justify that you're evading doing so. And the second part of the question only really requires you to point the finger at the party you think should be ashamed of the situation.

Well C8 was added to GT7 :D

I get the frustration with missing C8.R but we have to be patient especially for PD's modeling process that takes months to make a single car

we don't know if they are already working on that racing variant or they only plan doing it

also if the licence was a issue , they can easily do the GT3.R version early

Not counting amg gt3 and nissan gtr nismo gt3 witch are already ingame, these are the newest gt3 cars irl:

I believe we will be seeing some of these in future updates. There is no corvette c8r in there. Dunno why.
