Gt7 lacks cars for gr2 and grb. And could have more options for gr1. Rest its fairly ok.
Wouldn't mind more Gr.B's. The list is rather dated right now, plus adding more would give them a reason to bring back Tahiti Maze and Chamonix :)

I do also think what GT7 could really benefit from in terms of race cars are vintage models. In GT6 we at least had the Camaro and Challenger touring cars, that when tuned right, were competitive against each other. I would love if a Gr.5 was added to the game that featured solely these type of vintage race cars, and there are a lot of muscle cars that could be converted into Gr5 touring/race cars. The Camaro and Challenger are obvious ones, but I think the '69 Ford Mustang, '70 Dodge Super Bee and '70 Plymouth Superbird could also be good additions.

This is probably the most angry ive EVER been at this game, i had to deal with the ridiculous "0% rendering" bug in the livery editor which took me 6 restarts of the game, a reset of the internet router and PS4, plus clearing the network ingame cache. Its actually ASTOUNDING how PD has been "fixing" stuff with this game and has yet at the same time refuse to fix this stupid bug thats been around for a whole year now

World Touring Car 700 at Autopolis, curious if anybody has ever had it rain at this event, in all the events I've raced it has never rained, but clouds have appeared on radar from time to time, I'm starting to think this is a bug.

This bug is actually insane. It takes a voodoo black magic ritual just to make sure a livery saves. And the bug doesn't even stop there. I've had liveries that get stuck on the 0% loading circle of death AFTER they've been successfully saved onto the car, which completely locks it out of any further GT Auto modification and oil/engine maintenance.

Surprised PD hasn't even acknowledged it when they're going to be running an official livery competition for Super Formula.

I've mostly had rain. Sometimes just the flash of clouds, but mainly mid-race, to try and force me to pit for wets. Track dries very quick. So, it's a gamble to jump the Supra and NSX, in the latter half of the race.

Partiallly agree in the rally part. Most rally cars I want back are old ones. Delta s4, delta 91, stratos, lancer evo with marlboro livery, impreza, ford rs200, renault 5 maxi turbo, escort. Now for rally tracks I, absolutely, want more. Dont like the ones in game right now. I miss tahiti, swiss alps and smokey mountain.
Not seeing gt7 ever making a gr5. If they ever do that its probably going to be in gt8. If they add racing versions of classical muscle cars, they will probably put them without category (just race car). Now, I agree, they should do more classical car races, like alsace 1979 in gt7 or nostalgic 1979 in gtsport. With an actual decent reward.

I'm terribly sorry if this has been answered already, but what were the prizes for the three new menus? I recall that there were two new Extra Menus focusing on Shelby and Alpine, and one Bonus Menu featuring Super Formula.

ever think we go thru 12 journeys for patches the whole year? Time flies fast, of course it's not even close to other things in life in terms of importance, but it's a nice return imo.

I can't wait to see how the car list will look at the end of the year. I'm realllyyy expecting the Lancer Evo 7, 8, or 9 to come back. It will look so fresh in this game
I wholeheartedly agree, it's something to look forward to at the end of each month, as just about every car added is a treasure.

Even more exciting is the mystery of whatever the track team is cooking up, if there's two more locations as good as Grand Valley this year, we're in for a treat.

More Evos are welcome, I'm expecting at least the Premium IX GSR to return, hopefully soon. Would be nice to have the five missing Premium WRXs from GT6 back, or if I'm really lucky, a new, beautifully modelled Bugeye STI (and Wagon?🤞).

Some sort of very Pikes-Peak-looking S2K build just got unveiled for Dai Yoshihara, and it has GT stickers on it:

The shop that helped build it also revealed their finished “S2000R” project along side it, essentially their take on a modernized S2K Type R, with modern equipment and a Civic Type R engine swapped in. I don’t think that in particular has anything to do with GT, but noteworthy nonetheless.

As far as I'm aware, every Pikes Peak car has GT stickers on it since Gran Turismo sponsors the event. Which it has done for a while now. Which, given PD also have had the license for Pikes Peak for some time too makes it all the more unfortunate that we haven't actually seen the location appear in a game since the mock Pikes Peak track in GT2.

Regarding the Pikes Peak stuff, PD missed the 100th running. So, this will be the 101st. Would be a bit silly to now add the event. Just wait for the 102nd… or 3rd.. or 4th.. PD just don’t do non-GT Anniversaries well.

I knew they all got the windshield banners just like at the N24, but I wasn’t aware of sponsor stickers on the body panels. I figured it’s a continuing partnership with Dai Yoshihara, given his drift car still features in cross-promotional material. I can’t think of anything since that car was added in GTS that had any GT stickering IRL that’s made its way into the game - any of Igor Fraga’s junior formula cars or SGT liveries, Harrison Newey, or even any later drift cars from Yoshihara/T14. So you’re right, doesn’t really indicate anything.

IIRC the only times PD has done anything in conjunction with a major milestone or Motorsport anniversary has been its own anniversaries or the Senna content in GT6. Anything else has been an actual partnership, like the SF 2019 and this year, and yearly Goodwood updates in GT6. I don’t think any other DLC cars or tracks have arrived at a particularly relevant time.

This wouldn't be so much a problem if PD would add more dedicated events for the lower-end "starter" type cars. But PD seems to be focused on adding more later game content targeted seemingly at those that spend hours to grind for one car. Personally I've little patience for the grind and find many of these extra menus to be insulting. Spend 3+ million to get a six star ticket that gives you 500k, like, really PD?

Also I feel increasing the payouts on the beginner-mid game events would entice more people to enter them and make use more of these lower-end cars.

EDIT; Lastly I do wonder what happened to the complete a book, get rewarded a car that the base campaign and the K-car extra book offer. Seems like once you do the main campaign and the K book you're never to be rewarded a car again with the menu books themselves. I feel this causes inconsistency within the game, and there is seemingly still over 200+ cars they could reward you with. Many older models you can't even get with 0 mileage, and returning to this format would allow people to acquire some samples of these other 200+ cars but with 0 mileage.
I don't think consistency even registers on PD's radar. Logically there should be more than three races that are worth doing to make money to afford the contextually ridiculously overpriced cars that serve no purpose, but that would make sense. But here look, GT Olympics! What's that? You're not in the top 0.05% of players? Ah, that sucks...

And it’s weird that last year, we saw the Suzuki VGT in that, what looks like, Pikes Peak Scape. The car was revealed a month before the 100th running. We got the Escudo in June, but no Pikes Peak Course.

Still, weird they have the rights to use it, but appear to not be using it right. I guess we’ll see either end of this month or next month.

At that time I thought they just didn't manage to finish the track in time, because they usually do release the scapes of some track with the track itself, and since pikes peak scapes clearly exist but were not released then it probably means the track is coming in the future, but I believe later dataminers said there are no references to the track, so it most likely wasn't the case.
