They had a very distinct target with this minor Gazoo update. Would be weird if they targeted AI in the same one.

Undocumented changes happen all the time in GT. Sometimes by accident.

Anyway, the change in AI speed in Arcade races is very apparent, no idea why some don´t notice it.
My assumption is because they don´t drive Arcade races all that often.

Nope AI are still behaving the same in Arcade Races as they would in Event Races and Custom Races,
"Some" don't notice it because there is no change

Nope. I drive arcade races all the time in VR to check out new cars. 99% of the time I’m first after the first lap. Since the update this has drastically changed. I take that they still seem to be top speed capped, however they are still faster overall. Especially the front runners once you get to them.

EDIT: it goes without saying that I’m talking about arcade races on the hardest difficulty.

There’s a bunch of SUVs and Vans they could be sitting on. The Alphard are in those Scapes too. Forester, CX5, Toyota GRMN Century, Toyota C-HR, Land Cruiser L70, Toyota RAV4. I think the Honda HR-V or CR-V are in there. Plus, some Kei Vans.

We‘ll have to wait and see.

Yes, PD actually make their car models entirely from scans of Tomica Diecast cars.

I bet will are in line to come to gt7. PD likes to put these "you didnt notice it but its in front of your face" type small hints. They did something similar with xj220 if I recall.

In the options before a race, the reset car to track option dos not seem to work for me, on or off, it still resets the car if you go off, is this a bug as it`s annoying...

I don't know, personally you've reinvigorated my hopes for a true successor to Coconut Mall being made in the upcoming Gran Turismo track, Tomica Grand Mall.

If I may, what is it about these 3 cars in particular that prompted you to ask? Generally wouldn't use scapes as a reference point for new content as more often then not, there is always content that doesn't end up in GT.

I think this is where everyone is drawing their conclusions that you may be using a scapes pic to start implying that, combined with the fact that one of the cars you mention IS a car alot of people keep wanting to see return (See the multiple LF A worsh-I mean Update Speculation threads).

You're totally right to speculate about it. But, in my opinion, it's more of an coincidence than a teaser

They did put the nissan super silhouette in there too. Both the car and scape came out in the same patch, if I'm not mistaken.
That leads me to believe PD did, to some level, have choice over the cars in the scape. But who knows.

Putting a car, not ingame, in front of our face has a hint or just to stir the pot and make people talk about it, is a behavior that wouldnt surprise me from PD. But who knows.
Saw the car in the scape, found it weird ( what the F is a Lotus doing in there?) and highlighed. Just that.
If it was for me, that car wouldnt even be near my top choices.

I mean, why wouldn’t PD pay attention that level of detail? It’s what they’re known for. Besides, we’re virtually playing with virtual toys. PD showing reference to what started as physical toys many of us played with and now after 30 years(more like 40 for some of us) of playing with pixelated cars, that’s a cool nod to show old and new fans of GT.

I haven't been on with the latest update but the last content update i did a arcade race with the Buggati chiron on the high speed track (forget name). The race also had two ai chirons, the one in front was racing flatout and i only caught it through drafting.
The second chiron got stuck behind other cars acting very hesitant on the throttle.

Ive noticed for a long time that arcade races give the ai full speed for half a race or half a lap if 1. But i was surprised when that chiron raced me to the finish line 1sec back.

I just want to race the whole ai grid at full speed. Would make a huge difference. I hate doing arcade races because they slow down and make the race boring.

Will do some testing when my mood picks up, very curious.
