I'll admit, I've been a sceptic on the possibility of a PC port, but it's starting to feel inevitable at this point with how accurate that leak has been now.BTW, with the Ghost of Tsushima PC port revel, GT7 is now the only remaining PlayStation title from the original leak, not yet announced. The most interesting part of this for me is there's only a 2 month gap from announcement to release. Yet these ports probably take a good 12 months or more.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is coming to PC on May 16
Nixxes and Sucker Punch reveal PC features and pre-purchase details.blog.playstation.com
Much obliged 😆
PC joining the PS4 in holding back content? It’s a god damn conspiracy. FreeThePS5.If anything the PC port is holding back ps5 content.
Well, yes.do the makers/PD have to pay Manufacturers such as Ford to portray any of their cars ?
When it comes to more endurances, especially including the 24h ones that PD mentioned shortly after launch, I'd love to see a mix of ones that pay tribute to endurances from older games like the Grand Valley 300km as well as real ones like the LM24, but I'd also like to see new endurances altogether.
One idea I had was a PP-limited event at Le Mans, specifically the layout without the chicanes, featuring historic sports prototypes that don't go into any particular group. I'm referring to racers like the Porsche 917K and the Ford Mark IV, even if they didn't necessarily race against each other in real life. Or perhaps even if they didn't race at all, like the Jaguar XJ13. Then again, it may be better to have more "inclusive" regulations that'd potentially include more than just four cars at most. But that's where PD-created liveries for the AI could be especially useful, as being limited to four models didn't prevent the Super Formula events from existing, no?
Gt sport teased endurance racing…so yeah i am also on the why isnt this in the game on somewhat a better level. This is where the game frustrates me. They have just about everything already built into the game to make the game next level yet they choose not to. Sure we do have custom races for most of this stuff which i use regularly...but making it a core part of the actual game would have been ideal and a nice feature.
That's typically how it works. To use someone else's content you need obtain agreement, i.e. a license to do so, that usually means paying a fee.how is this car not in this game ?..........do the makers/PD have to pay Manufacturers such as Ford to portray any of their cars ?

TVR are in GT7, albeit with only one model. It'd be nice to get a few more in there.I wish someone in PD legal department would get off their collective buttocks and get a license from LOTUS to have their cars back in GT7.
(TVR also)
Yes I know of the ONE car but we had I believe 5 others in GT4 and others I think, all held back by licensing...TVR are in GT7, albeit with only one model. It'd be nice to get a few more in there.
With you mentioning them in the same vein as Lotus, who are entirely absent, that wasn't clear. But no big deal.Yes I know of the ONE car but we had I believe 5 others in GT4 and others I think, all held back by licensing...
The bad thing over licensing is like in the Lotus example, not only would it h hold back any new cars from Lotus but also it's historical cars like the 25, 35, 49, Europa, Elan, etc...With you mentioning them in the same vein as Lotus, who are entirely absent, that wasn't clear. But no big deal.
I too would like more, especially 90's and early 2000's models, but licensing may be an issue given the state of the company now. But I'd have thought that TVR would have wanted the new Griffith to be included. Apparently not.
HFW comes to PC March 21st, another port from Nixxes. That title released a month before GT7.Hopefully it comes a big quicker than the GoT port or you’ll be waiting another couple of years
Another option is to release on PC and PS5 Pro concurrently - taking advantage of the improved hardware. If anything the PC port is holding back ps5 content.
I can't see 16 cars grids on PC. Surely PD will increase it to 20 right? Right?
I have a feeling it's gonna be the R390 or GT-ONE due to them stating that it's something that most will be pleased with and those along with the Castrol NSX have been asked for quite alot. If it's the 88C i'd be very shocked seeing as the last time I saw a semi-recent photo of it it looked basically gutted but since the Escudo supposedly doesn't exist anymore as an actual full car IRL they could still recreate it using official photos and the shape of the car itself since it still exists. The newer ones aren't unlikely but i've heard that supposedly the Hypercar licensing is pretty strict but not sure how true that is; the Bentley Speed 8 was a premium in GT6 so that one isn't impossible. The race cars I see the most quoted here are :
- Toyota TS020
- Toyota 88C
- Bentley Speed 8
- Bentley Continental GT3
- Ferrari 288 GT3
- Ferrari 296 GT3
- Ferrari 499P
- Porsche 963
- Porsche 911 GT1
- Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak
Road cars are a more difficult task. We have a shorter list of datamined cars now but they are still a bunch. Other than that, the Corvette C5 could be a nice addition and would fit Pody's aim to fill the gaps here and there.
Aren't Lotus (and Volvo for that matter) owned by a Chinese OEM? You can't even pick Chinese as a nationality in the game, I assumed PD or Sony had some kind of beef with China (or the other way round) which would make it difficult for them to licence Chinese owned brands. This is entirely supposition on my part. The bad thing over licensing is like in the Lotus example, not only would it h hold back any new cars from Lotus but also it's historical cars like the 25, 35, 49, Europa, Elan, etc...
It has nothing to do with Geely taking over, despite who owns who. The marketing team of each car brand typically decides on licensing deals, not the company owning them always. Like how the licensing of Porsches and VWs are likely not the same price despite being under the same brand umbrella.Aren't Lotus (and Volvo for that matter) owned by a Chinese OEM? Because other license holders will then demand a higher price.PD however doesn't agree and thus won't fork over the money.
I think it is only an arbitrary limit, both PS4 and 5 would have no issues with even an unlimited garage, it is only a list of items with thumbnails. I guess, as when at first they released the game with a 20M Cr. cap, they thought it will be enough.I been thinking what do you think is the reason for the 2K garage limit?
PS5 not strong enough?
Ps4 Version?
Was it from here by any chance? It appears to be in the process of restoration.it's the 88C i'd be very shocked seeing as the last time I saw a semi-recent photo of it it looked basically gutted.
