Reading too much into silence can send you into all kinds of dead ends. You could just as easily flip that logic and say "it hasn't leaked that there isn't a track to tone down people's expectations, so there could be one".

I think the best place to be is just not expect tracks regardless of what rumours we hear unless it's fully confirmed.
That's one of the reasons why I want to go back to a time before leaks.
 

Gran Turismo 7 March Update: Four New Cars, Three New Race Events and Time-limited Decals!​

  • The following is a list of contents included with Update 1.44 for Gran Turismo 7 to be implemented on March 28, 2024.

1. Three new cars, including a Toyota endurance race car that lit up Le Mans, will join the stable.​

Toyota GT-One (TS020) '99​







2. An Extra Menu item will be added to the Café.​

[Extra Menu No. 37] Collection: Jaguar (Collector Level 41 and above)​


3. New World Circuits events joins the list.​

The following events will be added to World Circuits.
European Clubman Cup 600
Blue Moon Bay Speedway - Infield A Reverse

Schwarzwald League
High Speed Ring Reverse

World Touring Car 900
24 Heures du Mans race track

4. Stickers for official anime television series "HIGHSPEED Étoile" available for a limited time!​

For a limited time, 26 stickers including 8 title logos and 18 characters based on the upcoming Japanese anime series "HIGHSPEED Étoile" will be featured in the preset decals of the Livery Editor. The availability for these decals will be announced at a later date.

The original animation series "HIGHSPEED Étoile," set in the world of motorsports in the near future, is planned for broadcast in Japan in April 2024. For more details, please visit the official website at https://highspeed-etoile.com

5. "Fukushima" becomes a featured Curation in Scapes.​

Needs new tracks desperately to remain relevant and fun

playing once a month for an hour to see what’s new isn’t even worth it anymore with so little base racing content added
 
Wonder how likely the Toyota is to be stuffed into Gr2 class.

Also, I'm happy to see the correct decals on the Toyota this time!
Putting it in Gr. 2 would be a serious mistake. Ideally it should be in Gr. 1 as the 1999 model is an LMGTP which was faster than the 1998 model which would make more sense for Gr. 2.
