Unfortunately I think that considering even Sony has stopped supporting / releasing games for the psvr2 we won't be seeing any more changes to vr any time soonHopefully new UI options for the VR mode.
Not sure. Mostly these were rumours regarding Sony exclusive games, which were very very low already.Unfortunately I think that considering even Sony has stopped supporting / releasing games for the psvr2 we won't be seeing any more changes to vr any time soon
Instead of the Kimera, I think we could use a few more Pikes Peak-spec cars, like that Peugeot 208 T16 that was teased some time ago. Not to mention we already have several cars that went up the course, like the Escudo, the Audi Sport Quattro that we currently have, and the Volkswagen ID.R. That said, I'd like it even more if any new Pikes Peak-spec cars could fit into say, Gr.B or something.Of all the times to add Pikes Peak now makes the most sense.
The tarmac course can be used for many more game modes and events.
Plus there are some very cool and quirky cars that would fit in well in Gran Turismo.

Lol there is people telling the game is done since the release🤣🤣 obviously 2 and a half years later the game is going to show some fatigue and lose a part of the userbase,.but it is in a better shape than other contemporary racing games (Just FH5 is on a similar o bit better shape tbh)This update will show if GT7 is still alive or at its end
This update will show if GT7 is still alive or at its end
GT7 is alive, it's just not complete. This update will show if GT7 is still alive or at its end
The reports of GT7's death are greatly exaggerated. This update will show if GT7 is still alive or at its end
Yep, I think they gonna pull up another year of constant and frequent support with new content coming (cars, tracks, features, etc.) so I think 2025 will be the last relevant year of GT7 life. From 2026 and onwards it will be mostly bugfixes and stability tweaks with maybe a couple of Vision cars until GT8 release. Do you agree?GT7 is alive, it's just not complete.
Per update yeah?@TheAdmiester let’s say every GTP member donated $5 to you, and then you would tell us everything you know. Afterwards you can spend the money to change your identity and move to a faraway place where you can grow old. Deal?
Could make sense, at least far more than the claims for a possible GT8 only two years after the release of GT7… especially if you have the long lasting process of modern game development in mind.Yep, I think they gonna pull up another year of constant and frequent support with new content coming (cars, tracks, features, etc.) so I think 2025 will be the last relevant year of GT7 life. I have no idea if you could be right or wrong. It may as well continue like this until GT8, it is not as if the content they add is enormous, and it will be available for GT8 too. From 2026 and onwards it will be mostly bugfixes and stability tweaks with maybe a couple of Vision cars until GT8 release. Do you agree?
In my opinion there are two possibilities:Yep, I think they gonna pull up another year of constant and frequent support with new content coming (cars, tracks, features, etc.) so I think 2025 will be the last relevant year of GT7 life. I like your option 2 but I'd prefer it to be PS6 exclusive, to maximize its potential.2- they are going to support gt7 for much longer time and they are going to release gt8 just when the next playstation 6 is going to come out and ofc is going to be cross gen with ps5.
Broadbent on sight
It’s the guy who owns the used car dealership in GT7.Am I very out of touch if I say I don't know who that other person is? 😅
No, but it's Robb Wells from Trailer Park Boys.Am I very out of touch if I say I don't know who that other person is? 😅
The games been dead 5 or 6 times already though! 🤣This update will show if GT7 is still alive or at its end
option 2 is much more likely, IMOIn my opinion there are two possibilities:
1- gt8 is closer then we think so they can finally get rid of the ps4 system.
2- they are going to support gt7 for much longer time and they are going to release gt8 just when the next playstation 6 is going to come out and ofc is going to be cross gen with ps5.
We are at least trying to be realistic. And you know that is going to be cross gen ahahI like your option 2 but I'd prefer it to be PS6 exclusive, to maximize its potential.
Unfortunately i think that toooption 2 is much more likely, IMO
Like John Snow, I know nothing. But until then I am happy with the current qualities of GT7 and I hope that, with time, a lot of things will be improved (and that we will have nice content too). GT8 can be in 5 or 10 years, I don't mind.We are at least trying to be realistic. And you know that is going to be cross gen ahah
Well i want to remember you that gt6 has been announced 6 months before release and has been released with a new hardware already out. And in that case they are just going to make an upgraded version for ps6. I mean everything can happen. PD, as we know, are really unpredictableIf PS6 is late 2028 as expected then there's no chance that either GT7 or GT8 isn't PS5 only at least for a bit imo.
Yep, monetization wise is worse gaas ever ahaha so much content and all free. That’s so weird and i am not that sure that are happy inside sony. But to change it u neees to completely change the structure of the game itselfHard to tell when GT8 comes out. There are reasons to believe it’s still years off and that it’s coming sooner than we think.
The fact that they have figured out long term support, but not long rearm monetization leads me to believe that a more service oriented sequel might be like a year out.
Modern day Sony must love GT’s player retention, but hate the fact that they can’t turn it into good old cash beyond the initial sale.
We’ll see.
The handling model is too bad in my opinion for rally as the cars lose control far too easily. If there’s one thing I don’t want in GT it’s more (or actually any) rally.
