A game franchise that has had a lot of that since the beginning (in one form or another) I find it odd they haven’t added more of that myself.

If GT7 had it, MFGT should too. GT7 doesn’t, so it wouldn’t make sense MFGT to have it. Would be nice though. 👍🏻

It is though. But if you have many you follow in your feed it doesn’t necessarily show on top.

Should be both. A car irl has mileage. Makes sense it does in GT. But irl you can also do a secondary(hell most cars have A and B trip counters + maybe one more. Mine has three, anyway) to show how much you have driven since you bought it.
GT7 doesn’t have Practice. Yet, MFGT does. Kinda weird. I’d like Practice Mode back in GT. Enjoyed it in GT4. Custom Race doesn’t give me that option to shut the clock or laps off.

It may not even be enough with how you'd be racing against crappy AI most of the time.
I don’t race against crappy AI. I race alone. :sly: It gets lonely in the lead +1 minute ahead of the "competition".

Good point; but practice vs leading safety car.. I think most people can do without practice mode as it looks like time trial without recording the time, and a leading safety car would make a lot of people moan: "why is it in the demo and not the full game. [insert angry emoji and a long rant here]

I'm fine with Time Trial acting as the Practice mode, except I find the time leaderboard clumsy/annoying. I don't like that it saves a new entry for the same car every single time you do it. So I end up with a leaderboard that has like 10 entries of one car while I'm trying to tune it. And then when you try to go in and delete times, it's like slow/delayed and you have to pause for a moment between deleting them or the game doesn't actually do it etc.

Its just annoying. But I do like comparing times between my cars/tunes

A first reveal on the next title is proably not even to far off at this popoint.
What do you mean not to far off? Wouldn't make sense to put out a demo for an almost 3 year old game to convince people to buy it, to then reveal/show the next game in the series.

Besides, Sony their policy regarding new games these days is being silent until they are sure a new game will release in about a year.
"If" GT8 would come somewhere 2027 we wont see something before 2026.

You can SKIP it.

Sure but PD did not make it for us.

And I am not sure how many think it is important to have 0 mileage cars 😅 outside of a small niche of weird folks like here.

Exactly. Each to their own of course, some may be curious, fancy a change of sorts... or zero mile cars.

Personally, I have zero interest in installing it. As none of the above applies, particularly as 'completing' the demo doesn't generate more credits than you can earn in full game.

And definitely not if completing it requires doing licence tests again :D

If the entries ate deleted from the bottom up, it's possible to delete them without needing to exit to the previous screen. Annoying bug, but a little less so with this workaround.

Reminds me of GT6 launch (or some other promo) event in 2013 with a number of cars not in the game and everyone was saying "those will be added then". None of them were added.
What I'm saying is they always have all kind of random cars they could get at the place of the event and they usually barely represent the game's car list.

Y’know, I just noticed that both the Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II and the Volvo 240 both can have the amber light housing changed to being clear, in the livery editor. The latter also gets some really neat rally-esque light options, with one option being an front part option, and the other being under “front grille.”

Unrelated but I really miss the hatch WRX on the game.

They have shown a bit of love towards the Evolutions, with only the VII and couple initial ones missing now. But the Impreza has been neglected. Blob, hawk and 2007, 2010 versions are missin
Blob was recently added. Bugeye is missing.

Nice find. The E36 M3 also has amber/clear signal options on the front.

Well done to JLOC for winning their first ever championship!

After many failed attempts and bad luck, the team responsible for GT's first "Lamborghini" have got what they deserve after 31 seasons in Japan's top racing league. In many ways it's quite poetic because one of the cars that JLOC had before this was wrecked, so they buy a brand new one and a year later, they win. This is for all the men and women who have worked tirelessly since the beginning of JGTC/Super GT. Gran Turismo were there in their darkest days so it would only be fitting for them to celebrate this tremendous triumph by adding the Huracan GT3 EVO 2.

I didn't make the livery

There are more cars in there that are not in gt7

This video is so funny to me for no reason
Plenty of sports cars and super SUVs all around and then there's the two base model Genesis SUVs, they couldn't at least get a mockupt VGT or G80 Magma Concept in there?

And the first car in the video, the black bmw. I think its also not in gt7. I might be wrong, but it looks like the bmw m2 g87 from 2023:

If you were meaning my posts, I have no insider information on that. I just attempt to puzzle-piece what is known, in this case that the Nations Cup Qualifying Time Trial session doesn't have any information listed (although we now know the car), and that there's a possibility that they use a new track since it's all TBA.

I think it's very unlikely for that to be the case, but I'm saying that it's not a 0% chance that a new track is used.
I do think it would be a cool idea to use Pikes Peak as a qualifying time trial, but that's just a hypothetical scenario.

But yeah, I'm just an attempted puzzle-piecer, not a data-miner or someone with credibility when it comes to knowing update content in advance.
Going back to this for closure, the unknown track that they used for the Qualifying Time Trial with the new Hyundai, was Nürburgring GP-D (Sprint)
