To me it says that much is probably being saved for DLC strategy similar to what GT Sport has had.So we're looking at about 100 new cars and 3-5 new locations over GTS. There is no other way of putting it, that is very weak.

Same for the cars 😂😂😂You can never have enough tracks.
Because normally a new title brings novelty, new tracks. And as of now it looks like they're only bringing back the two classic GT circuits. Not even Seattle. But why? As if the variety of tracks that we currently have and will have ain't good enough.
Not really, no. There are countless holes in the current lineup. Plus it's all about that fresh and new experience of new tracks on a new game. But why? As if the variety of tracks that we currently have and will have ain't good enough.
Complaining about the complainers is even more annoying to be frankly honest. Let them be. They have good points. In classic GTP fashion the GT side of the forum went from full ecstasy and excitement to endless amounts of complaining.

Plus unless I'm missing it there is no future of the "past, present & future" promise. Scapes, livery editor etc is the present, same old GT Mode/license tests/car upgrades is the past, what are the new/future features and ideas? They have to be hiding stuff, only adding a few new tracks makes no sense compared to their DLC output for GT Sport.
I really wish more people would understand this. We couldn't even leave our houses to go to the park, what makes people think PD could travel worldwide to scan cars and tracks? Just relax, enjoy it for what it is and look forward to future free content updates like we were so spoiled with in GT Sport.Do people realise that the pandemic restrict travel? which means that scanning cars and especially tracks is going to be hard?
Considering GTS have more than 30 tracks and 100 cars added in 2 years, I'm going to assume that the pandemic is whats causing the low amount of new tracks.
Because the website is already telling us what the final game will contain in terms of cars and tracks. It's not going to change.Honestly I don't see the point in people complaining about a game that's several months out. Might as well wait until closer to release when we have a better idea of what we're working with.
Either Kaz forgot, discarded that idea, or maybe it's being saved for the next trailer. Those are my random guesses.Plus unless I'm missing it there is no future of the "past, present & future" promise. The pandemic brought lockdowns and restrictions out of China since February-March 2020. GT7 has been in development for years (in my book, since GTS development). I highly doubt they would have waited 2020 (basically, "last minute") to start scanning tracks. It requires a lot of time to work on.Do people realise that the pandemic restrict travel? which means that scanning cars and especially tracks is going to be hard?

Most of the new tracks and cars they've worked on since GTS was released were added to Sport. I think it's around 2019? when they stopped adding things to Sport. So most of the tracks that are going to be new were probably worked on from 2019-now. Looks like a Group 3 / Group 4 multiclass at Le Sarthe? Neat, but kind of silly when it should be prototypes and Group 3...Final clip confirms that the once survey-exclusive Gr.4 Supra will be returning (hopefully with ways to obtain it within the actual game) and reinforces the possibility of multiclass racing in some form. Offline multiclass might probably turn out to be like the Gr.2/Gr.1 championships in GT Sport's GT League, but we'll see.

Yeah, PD's class groupings are pretty loose, but overall it's clear that Group 1 is sports prototypes, Group 2 is silhouette cars, Group 3 is top-class production derived sports GTs, and Group 4 is GT4/TCR type cars, and if they have to BoP the McLaren F1 down 60 horsepower and up 400 pounds to manage that, then they will. You mean nerf those cars? GT1 spec cars still have a lot of power and torque compared to GT3 cars at the moment, and GT500 cars even in the late 90s are insanely lightweight. In comparison GT3 cars are very heavy and also are already nerfed by the Pirelli tires in some cases. You can see this in IMSA where GT3 cars still don't catch up with GTLM cars due to the weight differences, aero differences and even tire compound differences.
Not necessarily. Who told you they would release everything new they have available directly into GTS as time goes by?Most of the new tracks and cars they've worked on since GTS was released were added to Sport. Multiclass racing is something I can definitely get on board with, though hopefully the grid sizes make it worthwhile.Looks like a Group 3 / Group 4 multiclass at Le Sarthe? Neat, but kind of silly when it should be prototypes and Group 3...
